As a hiker I only wear the best shoes that fit perfectly. However, I have had an ongoing problem with my big toe nails growing upwards, thickening and becoming very difficult to cut with normal toe nail clipper. Easy to use snipper!
Very well made instrument: a sharp cutting edge and a powerful action, ideal for those nails that have become thicker and difficult to manage. Works perfectly for me, highly recommended.

A very good pair of clippers - however, I should have chosen a more heavy-duty version. These are not strong enough for really thick toenails.

Nice and sharp.
Absolutely brilliant cutters, cuts my horny toenails, but does have a tendency to slip in my hands - that is because my hands have no gripping power these days. I shall get some Polyfoam tubing and fit that to the handles, and then all will be hunky dory

Cheap clippers are a total waste of time
Quality tool, sharp and precise. Cheap clippers are a total waste of time, they chew, not cut. As with all tools it is worth spending the little extra to get something that does the job.

does the job on thick nails
Bought this after reading many reviews about high quality product ideal for cutting through really thick toe nails. Ideal for this, used for first time and trimmed tricky toe nails with ease. Also got a free file with this purchase which was a nice touch.

These proved to be the ideal cutters to remove a very thick overgrown toe nail, which proved difficult to remove with normal nail clippers. They are very sharp and the quality is excellent. Well worth the money spent. I would highly recommend them.
