I love this vacuum!
I have only good things to say about this power house of a vacuum. I have had the standard upright design in the past; the kind that has a detachable hose to get in those hard to reach places. HATE THOSE, LOVE THIS! This is worth the buy. The metal hose/neck extends making it easier for whomever is using the unit. My 3 year old enjoys vacuuming now because I can make it his size and it's not crazy loud. My husband is 6'2" and can comfortably use it. It can switch from hard surfaces to carpet (I mean carpet, not just area rugs) with a flip of a switch and you can even control the amount of suction! Such a great feature. You can really feel it grab when the suction is turned up. You can control pretty much everything at your feet, so there is less bending up and down. It is very light weight and feels like it's made of great heavy plastic. It works like a dream! You can pull it behind as you go or hold it, it's that light. I am 100% happy with this purchase and you will be too.

Amazing vacuum for the price!
I have had this vacuum a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. I have hard floors with the exception of a few area rugs. It works great on both. The suction is amazing and the filter doesn't get clogged very quickly but when it does it is so easy to clean it. It is super light and easy to manuver.

Good value, read the instructions
For the price, it's hard to beat. It's not the greatest vacuum in the world, but it could be in the running for best performance by price point. You have to do some tweaks on the suction settings between the wand and the floor nozzle to get it right, but once you do it works pretty good. It's lightweight and it was sucking up crap I didn't even know was hiding in my carpet. Read the instructions: I was about to come here and blast this thing before I read the instructions and realized it was an operator error. Docking a point for capacity. It doesn't hold much, so if you have a pet like me (black lab) you'll be emptying it a lot unless you vacuum frequently. All said, you can fill it to the brim and it'll still run, which is worth mentioning. Also, it doesn't like staying on its wheels. It seems to sacrifice stability for being lightweight and easy to move; not necessarily a bad thing if that's what you want. Durability-wise: you won't be passing this down to your grandkids. If you need something that simply works, this is it.

After years of trying, I think I've found my forever vacuum
Buying a vacuum (or carpet cleaner) on Black Friday has kind of become my annual tradition - every year I tell myself this is the last one, and then another sale rolls around. In 2025, I decided it was time to finally replace the cordless vacuums I’ve been putting up with for the past couple of years. Between the battery never lasting and the underwhelming suction, I was more than ready for an upgrade. When I saw the Eureka WhirlWind Bagless Canister Vacuum on sale for $57.99, I jumped on it, and even added the 3-year protection plan for peace of mind. Hopefully this one will stick around for a while! 💗 This vacuum is fantastic, here's what I love about it so far: 🌀 Suction power The suction power is soooooo much better than my cordless vacuums (which are now leaving my home ASAP!). This vacuum doesn't have a beater brush but I only have carpet in a few small areas so I'll continue using my upright for those. The throw rugs, however, are where this shines - it doesn't try to eat them like my upright does. The suction is strong enough that I've learned to vacuum by standing on the rug and pushing outward from the center. Bonus: no beater brush means the side fringes aren't getting caught! 😸 Also, I have cats... and cat litter boxes... this vacuum does a fantastic job of sucking up any misplaced litter, as well as stray cat hair. 🗑️ Generous sized dirt canister My cordless vacuums held maybe a cup of dust, which I had to empty constantly (especially living in a dusty rural area). The Eureka's canister holds at least two cups, and the first time I used it I accidentally went past the fill line, and it still worked great. The whole dust assembly comes apart (dust cup, dust separator, filter, lid) making it easy to clean each component. I do a full clean quarterly and let everything dry on the porch for a few days (although not in full sun during the summer!) just to be safe . 🎚️ Adjust the suction power There's a handy slider on the handle so I can reduce suction while vacuuming the throw rugs. It's still powerful, but this feature makes delicate areas easier to clean. 🔁 Automatic cord rewinder No wrapping cords by hand! Just step on the button and the cord retracts smoothly. It pulls out easily too and stays in place while in use. 🧺 Quick dust release All you have to do is press the release button over a trash can and the dirt falls out. I did notice that the lid catches a bit of dirt but I just tipped it slightly to drop it out. 🧼 Washable filter The filter is located at the top of the dust assembly and consists of a dense black sponge and a white layer, held together by plastic T-tag fasteners. I shake the filter each time I empty the dust cup and live in a dusty rural area so I have to change the filter every 2-3 vacuuming sessions. Filters for this model run from $3 to $6 each (depending on the brand) so I wash them instead of replace with a brand new one. I'll be removing T-tag fasteners from the black sponge and the white layer so that I can more easily wash the two. I typically use dishwashing liquid and hot water, which ends up with brown thick suds, then I rinse and squeeze until the water coming out is clear. I then soak the filter for 5-10 minutes in a 3% hydrogen peroxide to disinfect, rinse and then let it air dry for several days. I always keep 2-3 spare filters on hand so I can swap in a dry one and keep going. Then every 2-3 years I replace the set of filters with brand new ones. 🔌 16 foot long cord This is a good length, but I do need to plug in at different places even in my home which is on the small side at 50' x 20'. 📏Telescoping metal wand I love that the wand is metal, and adjusts so smoothly with a simple click. No wrestling with stiff buttons or stuck tubes like with other vacuums I've had. 🔒 Secure snap-fit I didn't know this was actually a feature when I was exploring this vacuum cleaner, but it is very noticeable how the parts snap together and come apart easily. No fighting with stuck pieces or awkward twisting. It makes cleaning and reassembling so much faster. 📢 Noise level This vacuum is moderately loud, which is pretty much what I expected for a vacuum with strong suction. It’s definitely not whisper-quiet, but it’s not so noisy that it feels overwhelming either. I can still hear what's going on around me, but I probably wouldn’t use it during a phone call or if someone was napping in the next room. The sound is more of a steady hum than a high-pitched whine, which makes it easier to tolerate during longer cleaning sessions. 🧹Built-in Dusting Brush One of my favorite little surprises was the integrated blue dusting brush that slides down into place right on the wand. It’s super convenient for cleaning baseboards, windowsills, or shelves without having to go hunt for an attachment. If I don’t need it, I just slide it back up and out of the way. It clicks into place securely and doesn't fall down during use. It's a small detail, but it adds to how thoughtfully designed this vacuum is. Overall, I'm really impressed. This vacuum cleaner is powerful, lightweight, and solves a lot of the little annoyances I've had with past vacuums. I didn't expect to love it this much, but here we are!

Eureka WhirlWind vs Bissell Zing
I very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write. At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind. Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place. But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.

Strong vacuum
This is an amazing vacuum that takes up little room to store. It has great suction, I have one dog which sheds and this picks up everything. It’s lightweight so it’s easy to carry around when using plus it’s easy to empty and clean the container.

Easy to use vacuum. Love the retractable cord.
Ok, I am lazy. Bought this vacuum to do a quick clean to me entry porch cuz every time the grands come in, they leave a trail. It sits right where it's needed and does a good job. Grdtr used it on the carpet in the living room. While it is easy to maneuver and light weight, it did not work well on carpet. Rate it a 5 for bare floors but 3 elsewhere.

Eureka Whirlwind Bagless Canister Cleaner NEN110A
I’ve only had this vacuum for about 6 weeks so consider this a preliminary review. Most of these comments I consider annoying issues. Power cord is short. Be ready to move the plug around the room. Suction control. Does not stay put. Piece of tape solved the problem. Hose Grip seems to not align with rest of lower unit. Feels like you’re fighting it to keep going straight. Canister is small. This is not surprising since it’s a small vacuum. Duh Positive: Suction is very good. Tools are all contained on the tube. Very lightweight.

Everything I need in a vacuum cleaner.
My small Eureka canister vacuum arrived today and of course I had to put it together and try it out immediately. I am so impressed with the way that this little Eureka is built. The first thing I noticed is the fully adjustable metal wand as compared to the plastic ones that you get with most small vacuums. It's fully height adjustable with many many adjustments available. The floor cleaner can go from hard floors to carpets with no problem whatsoever just a click. It is amazingly easy to dump and the filter comes out very easily and cleans up very well. I used to own another brand that was this size and this one is miles above that one as far as noise, the way that it's made and the materials that it's made with and the ease of cleaning after using. I am a 73-year-old senior lady and I have just a small senior apartment approximately 500 ft. This vacuum will do absolutely everything I need it to do. I did spend some time looking for the dust brush LOL and then notice that it is actually part of the nozzle. Now that I have located that and found how easy that is to use I think it's an amazing idea to have it a permanent part of the machine so you don't have to go looking for it when you need it. All in all, this lady is very happy with her purchase. The only thing I would tell people to look for is that one of these little vacuums has an extra filter and the other one does not however they are both the same vacuum and they are the same price even though one of them has that free filter. Of course I chose the one without the free filter which is another case of just having a senior moment. Just make sure you check. I did order an extra filter for it but of course I had to pay extra. Anyway this is a really good little vacuum and I would highly recommend it to someone with a small place.

Powerful
I recently bought this little dynamo and it is great! It’s lightweight, bagless and very powerful! Two things that I don’t like about it are (1) The bristle brush doesn’t lock into place, so as soon as you try to vacuum blinds or baseboards with it, the brush pushes up and your wand is scraping the surfaces. Big thumbs down! (2) The power head on laminate floor is incredibly loud. Overall, a good little vacuum.
