Sealy Conform Essentials 9-Inch Firm Mattress, Twin XL

We slept on a previous version of this mattress in Treasure Island #206 condo, Panama City Beach last month. It was a Sealy Optimum TruHarmony. It was the most restful 2 weeks of sleep we have had - ever. I couldn't wait to find one for our home but, was very disappointed to learn it had been discontinued. I even considered offering to buy that used mattress! After speaking with Sealy customer service, I learned this "Sealy Conform Essentials 10.5-Inch Cushion Firm Mattress" pretty much took its place. The mattress itself only weighs 55 lbs, so it is easy to handle. It is firm but, with slight give. It has no motion transfer. This is probably the 7th mattress we have bought in the last 25 years and is without question, the most comfortable. I honestly did not know that you could have such a night of blissful sleep!

I bought this mattress on Black friday 2019 (November 29), arrived in a few days already inflated, well packaged and a beautiful finish. The same day I arrived I was surprised by the comfort, it was really firm and comfortable, as said in other people's rewils. after a week he began to give way where my husband sleeps, today the 5th of january 2020, the mattress sank completely on my husband's side and on my side, I already had back pain, but now is worse, my husband never felt back pain from mattress and now he is suffering. If you are looking for a firm mattress, this one is not for you! I threw my money away. I just wanted to sleep on a firm mattress and wake up painlessly.

I've only slept on this for two nights but so far so good. I'd like to address a couple issues I found in reviews I read before I purchased this. 1. The first one was the review where the person ordered a queen and received a full. I ordered a queen also; the measurements listed for the queen are for a full sized mattress. Someone previously had asked a question regarding size that was answered by Sealy customer service, where they were told the listed dimensions were wrong and that they would be fixed. This was back in September, 2017 and still the dimensions are wrong. I contacted Amazon customer service regarding this and was assured that the mattress was in fact queen sized. I was prepared to refuse delivery if the wrong size came. Luckily, I did receive a queen. 2. The second issue were the one star reviews that claimed that this mattress (the plush) was really firm, not plush. I did a lot of research online before ordering this. I was looking for a foam mattress that was firm but still had some give. I found a really good video review at the US Mattress website that goes into the differences in the types of Sealy conform mattress; how much they give, and which is best for back, stomach or side sleepers. So far I really like this mattress, but it's only been a couple days. The memory foam mattresses are totally different than a spring mattress. If you are looking for a soft, plush mattress with the give of a spring mattress, this is probably not for you.

Comfortable. Breaking in u even have to move around to get it uniform

Purchased this mattress in September '19 and at first it was great. Three months later things began to change. The side where my husband sleeps began to sink and it continues to get worse. His side is completely soft and it seems to be spreading over to my side. This mattress is clearly defective. A good firm mattress should not break down with 3 months of normal use. I am contacting Amazon to find out what my options are.

This is a great memory foam mattress that won't make you feel like you're sinking all the way in. It offers great support for your back as well as comfort. I also used the scheduled delivery with Amazon, and they were very reliable - would highly recommend.

This cushion on this seems to have slipped to one side more than the other. I’m not sure if it is because it was stored upright or because of poor manufacturing. I have set up the bed and I’m hoping that the mattress settles in more evenly with time. It in my guest bedroom so it’s not a major issue and may be more of a hassle to get it replaced. I’m going to give some more time before I reach out to customer service.

So far been very happy with the sealy, its a firm yet forgiving surface, this is my first memory foam mattress, so its been an adjustment, but all in all we have slept much better in this bed over our old sealy plush innerspring mattress. Might have been a little more picky about it, if I had paid 1300 for it, but at 360 its unbeatable.
