These socks are great for the winter. I like to wear warm boots (Uggs but also the heavy duty ones for snow) and boots like that typically don’t require thick socks. For that reason, these are perfect. They stay up, look cute, and are soft. Per the other reviews, they do get a lot of lint but that was only with the first wash & dry. No issues since. Are they warm? For my purposes, yes. If I were to wear them with a thin boot or some other shoe without a lining, then my feet would probably get cold in freezing weather. But otherwise, these are perfect.

I LOVE these socks. I bought two packs of 6. They are a cable knit and stretch and stay up to my knees; they don’t slide down like other socks do. The only issue is they have started to pill on the feet and it’s getting worse with every wash. Has anyone else had same problem?

UPDATE: it is now 9/20/22 and I still use these socks. Same set from 2019! They have lasted through all the cold seasons, no holes & have not worn out. Still very satisfied with this purchase! 6prs of true knee length wool socks!!! I’m about 5’10” with very long legs, shoe size 8.5/9 womens or 6.5/7 mens. I also have fibromyalgia and anything tight elasticity hurts me. These are snug but fitting (comfortable) and aren’t itchy during my try-on. I intend to wear these over thermals and or jeans. I like the colors they came in too. Nice quality, material has a chemical smell but I will be washing them before wearing them.

Just right for walking/hiking. They stay up and help keep my legs warm. Feel good on my feet too. We hike almost every morning in all weathers. Happy I bought them. They do pill a bit after washing but nobody sees them but me so-who cares?

I purchased these socks for my sister, because she always complains about her feet being cold. She said they're thick, long, comfortable and keeps her feet really warm. She can pull them all the way up to her knees, and they're good to wear with boots. They were worth the money paid too.

These socks are well made. They are very soft, just thick enough to not be cheap, and hold up well in the wash. They are snug enough to stay up, but not so tight that they are constricting. They go just below my knees, but I am only 5'2". Not sure how they would be on a taller person. I would definitely purchase them again.

These fit me well — I need a slightly wider sock, and the spandex is a good percent, not too tight, but seem reliable. Haven’t washed them yet. I laughed so hard, though, when I looked at the label. The front of the label says “Wool Boot Socks” and the back of the label, in tiny print— “95% polyester 5% spandex”. The toes and heels are not reinforced, so I don’t know how durable they will be, but they are very soft and cushy, warm but not overpoweringly so.

These beautiful socks arrived quickly and I cannot believe I could be so excited over a 6-pack of socks. But these are incredibly cute, comfy, stretchy and fit perfectly. They are nice & long too so they come up all the way to my knee cap. I am ready for this damp, wet & windy SF Bay area winter. Thank you.

These socks are nice and seem to be made well and of good quality. They are soft and comfortable, true to size, and match the description. I was hoping they would be a bit thicker, but they are still warm enough. I will probably by another package and definitely recommend this item.
