The laptop battery works very well. It was easy to install, fit my laptop perfectly, and holds a good charge. I’m very satisfied with the quality and performance.

This battery helped me recover my information from a dead MacBook. Here is the story. It turned out that my MacBook (2019) had a soldered-in SSD (a horrible and arrogant design by Apple, which since has been corrected due to pressure from European regulators demanding the electronics to be "repairable"), and so when all USB ports died the laptop could not be powered up, I had no way of removing the SSD and recovering my data. When I went to the Genius Bar, they turned out to be quite the opposite, in fact completely useless and they just drained the rest of my battery. I called information recovery services, they asked for 7 thousand dollars, which is total insanity. I sent it to a mom-and-pop repair shop, hoping they would repair the USB charging circuitry, but they only broken my laptop further, tearing tiny cables that they apparently did don't notice. Then I bought this replacement battery, installed it, and -- a miracle! -- my laptop came alive, giving me a few precious hours to copy my data over airdrop.

It arrived on time and in good condition, but the battery's lifetime is a bit disappointing. Since it's brand-new, it might need a few cycles to reach its full capacity, but I'm still a bit disappointed as it doesn't seem to last any longer than the smaller sized battery. Note that this battery will stick out beyond the back of the laptop, possibly affecting fit into a laptop bag, docking station, or desktop if space is tight.

It’s a rare find in this world of cheap and faulty products. If you have an old Sony VAIO laptop that needs a new battery, I highly recommend this one. It will make your laptop feel like new again, and you’ll be able to enjoy it for a long time. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

The seller failed to mention that this is not a plug and play install by far. It’s not installed into secluded location where you do not have to come in contact with other internal parts. Once you open the case, the battery is in full display from left to right, but to get the battery out of its glued in position will take not only prying it out but uncovering the battery cable connector from other internal parts. You have to gut out your device to install this part in a Macbook Pro. The part does not come with instructions and there is no guide for the dozens of micro size screws you will need to remove. It only has a warning form. You will lose a third of the screws or forget from where you removed them. This is for an installer who has lots of experience and small tools for the kind of project. You may want to consider if a renewed replacement is better than tackling this replacement project. There is not even any YouTube clips showing you how to do this install- well maybe one buts its from a guy who obviously has a shop, experience, and may a be professional.
