This classic Gingerbread book arrived in great condition and was exactly as described. I love having this timeless story to share, and the quality of the book exceeded my expectations. It's a wonderful addition to any home or classroom library.

This is a great tale for children. It’s not too long, and the words aren’t too complex. It teaches a meaningful lesson. The hardcover is veerrrry nice

I have 2 versions of the Gingerbread Boy and this is one of them. When I was a child I remember my mother baking little gingerbread men and I loved the story as a child. So when I found this one by Paul Galdone, I had to get it because I really, really love his illustrations. His style is whimsical and fun and the hardcover edition is beautiful to look at. My child loves this book and it is a favorite at bedtime.

Need to re-ad this to my classroom library. A must have.

I bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it. He read along with the CD. When the CD is not on he reads the pages like the CD. This story is a classic for children.

Wonderful version of the original Gingerbread Man that I remember when I was a girl. My kids love the background music and the different character voices. It's a great way to spend story time with your children any time of the day! Absolutely love it!!!

A classic that has all the elements of a perfect read-aloud story: big, expressive drawings, rhythmic sentence structure that's easy to follow, a delightful build-up, and the promised ending. I read it to my esl childrens classes, and it's a hit every time.

It's very sad at the end ,if I wrote the book I would have a different ending by the way this is not Samantha it's her daughter malawi

I am always on the look out for good children's books because my daughter loves being read to and we can go through a stack quite quickly. My daughter (aged 4) and I both love this book. The story is told in the traditional way - i.e. it seems perfectly normal when the gingerbread boy gets eaten rather than sad and upsetting (which could have been a problem for my daughter if it were told differently). Story is a nice length, pictures are great, definitely recommended.
