I really appreciate the versatility this single burner adds to my cooking routine. As a truck driver, I love it because it has made it easy for me to cook without the need for gas—no more worrying about finding a gas source or dealing with fumes. The 1000W power heats up quickly and the 7.25-inch cast iron hot plate heats evenly, making cooking efficient and convenient. The 5-level temperature control allows me to easily adjust the heat for different dishes, and the compact size makes it perfect for small spaces or when I’m on the go. The stainless steel base is stylish and easy to clean, which makes cleanup a breeze after cooking. It feels well-built and durable, and I believe it will last a long time with proper care. One minor con is that the power cord could be a bit longer for more flexibility in placement. I used it with an extension cord to give myself some extra reach and to keep it safely away from walls and other surfaces. Overall, this cooktop is a great addition to my kitchen or outdoor setup—efficient, reliable, and easy to use. It’s been a game-changer for me on the road!

I use for small business purposes to keep out of my kitchen and to keep food from contaminating my product. Works perfectly. Heats fast. Size is great for larger pots

Great for formulating cosmetics, but the temp can get pretty hot quickly. For boiling water it doesn't get hot enough to boil, but it does get hot enough to still soften noodles. No regrets, I like mine.

I have a very picky yorkie who will only eat if she can smell her food being warmed up. I bought this hotplate for when I travel with her and it actually heats the food up quicker than my stove does. It takes quite a while for it to cool down but I was mindful of that post-cooking and am very happy with this purchase.

Took 45mins to boil a medium pot of water to make pasta. Took 20+ mins to make scrambled eggs. This is more of a small warming plate than a cook top. I do not recommen and would not spend my money on this.

The "on" indicator light only illuminates at position 5. It starts warming but after about five minutes the unit shuts off. The unit will turn itself back on after a few minutes. Rinse and repeat. Any temperature position selected below 5 turns the unit off. Poor quality control. Don't buy. When the unit is operating on position 5, it draws 7.48 amps. Update: temperature positions below 5 have started working now for some unknown reason. Changed review from 1 to 3 stars. Also, the base of the unit gets very hot, so burn potential. Lets see what happens next.

Great one burner stove for small living areas. Very well built. I use mine mostly for hard-boiling eggs.

Exactly as described. Works almost exactly like the small electric burners of a free standing stove. Follow the instructions when using it the first time and run it outside for 5 minutes on high. Does put off a smell. Turns any medium size pan with a cover into a slow cooker for beans or what ever.
