SIZE COMPARISON PICS!!
I use this when I need to feed my 12in pleco while Iโm out of the house for a couple of days. Lasts about 3 days with a larger one like mine or a week for the little ones. Doesnโt resolve in the water quickly either. No complaints works every time.

Great way to feed
Easy to use and the fish like them. I have two aquariums, one with a pleco and another with algae eaters and panda cory's. Add one a week to the bigger aquarium.

Most commercial fish foods have something nutritious, although the vacation blocks are the worst. This 1 is no exception. Made of calcium sulfate, plankton, powdered cellulose and Spirulina, Zoo Medโs Pleco Banquet Block is only 1% protein and a ยผ percent fat. At least it is cheap. Using its Guaranteed Analysis of Moisture Percentage, actual dry content is LOW $4.12/$65.91 per actual dry ounce/pound. Compare that to Big Kahuna Sinking Spirulina Algae Wafers, VERY LOW $0.54/$8.68 per adjusted dry ounce/pound - 7 ยฝ times cheaper! With 2 meats: Spirulina, fish meal, shrimp meal and wheat flour. Used this when we went away for a week. The fish stayed alive but the tank became cloudy and i havent been able to completely clear it back up.

Plecos Alive After 3 Weeks With These
OK, unavailable in the UK (yet) it seems, so these came a long circuitous route from the US Midwest via NY and Surrey to my home. It took a month, which was longer than predicted. If you're concerned about CO2 footprint then perhaps these can wait. However, I used two blocks for my two plecs for a 3 week absence and they were both alive when I returned. Blocks had completely gone so I presume the plecos ate them. I don't think there's anything you can put in the tank for such a long period to feed plecos so all I can say is these worked for me, & my plecos of course!
