This GANA HDMI Switch (4K@60Hz bidirectional aluminum switcher) has been a great addition to my setup. I use it to switch between two devices on one TV and it works flawlessly — clean 4K signal with no lag or dropouts. The aluminum build feels solid and the manual button makes switching quick and easy. It’s compact, doesn’t need external power, and is fully compatible with my PS5, Fire Stick, and other devices. Setup took seconds and it’s been reliable ever since. Excellent little switch for the price. Highly recommend if you need a simple 2-in-1 HDMI solution!

Good value for what you get and what this can offer. I did not even know this existed. I was already planning to buy a new monitor until I saw this all of a sudden. Easy plug and play. I have a Mac and a Windows connected to 1 monitor. I can easily switch between them with the button in the middle. I don’t use it for gaming. So in terms of quality output I cannot comment. I use this for office work.

With this product, you can connect two devices, such as two computers, to one monitor and press the button to choose which computer appears. Connect one device to two monitors/TVs and select which screen receives the signal. If you're considering this for your computer to run two or three monitors with different images on each screen, this device will not accomplish that. You would need a different type of adapter/docking solution. Overall, it provides great quality image resolution

I really like this product because it solved a problem that I didn’t know how to fix. I only have one monitor that I normally use with my PC, but I also wanted to use the same monitor to play my PlayStation 5. The problem was that my monitor doesn’t have another HDMI input available. At first I started thinking about buying another monitor just for my PS5, but when I looked at the prices I hesitated a lot because most of them were expensive. The cheaper ones also didn’t have the same good resolution as the monitor I already have. So I started looking for a device that would let me connect both my PC and my PlayStation to the same monitor and switch between them easily. That’s when I found this HDMI switch, and I was honestly surprised by how affordable it was. The device feels well made, the material feels strong and durable, and I also like the color and overall design. The video quality is excellent and I didn’t notice any loss in resolution. Another thing I really like is the size. It’s very small and compact, so it fits anywhere on the desk and doesn’t get in the way at all. What I like the most is how simple it is to use. You just plug in the HDMI cables and that’s it. It doesn’t need batteries or extra power, it just works. This 4k hdmi switch works great, it does exactly what I wanted it to do, I installed a 4k outdoor camera on 1 hdmi input and a directv hub on the other hdmi input and I am able to quickly switch my flatscreen tv from one to the other. And the led indicator shows me which one is on.

Not great. Have to unplug one for the other to work. It was cheap though so I'm keeping it but I'd definitely recommend something better if the option is available. Can't just "switch" how I'd thought.

A quick and easy way to switch the monitor between two computers without the need for a full-blown KVM

The HDMI switcher is working fine. It is the safest choice when your equipment is up to date with today's latest technology. The reason is because many awesome live distributers (with picture and sound on one to four outputs at the same time) are not up to date with the latest HDCP and this causes your equipment to not work correctly or not at all! That is the only reason I desided to go with these simple but effective switches My switcher/distributor has no brand logo on it (by the way). Apparently it had lots of cost for the manufacturer to do so on all devices but works as it should. Of course I was reading on this list and other lists as well here in Amazon all that tech nonsense (4K HDCP etc.) about these switchers/distributors but what they haven't written is that these types of distributors with a switch (on top) are just switchers. They are of course a simple and good way to switch between HDMI cables without plugging and unplugging them all the time.. But there is no chip circuit inside for all these tech info they write. I used to build switchers like that (but with RCAs or Scarts (Europe) etc.) in my younger days for pretty much same use. The way these switchers/distributors work is that there's the input/output HDMI (we'll call it HDMI 1) which goes on the one side of the switch series pins (inside) connected to the main HDMI connector and the other HDMI connector (we'll call it HDMI 2) is on the second series pins. When pressing the top button the MAIN HDMI is connected to the HDMI 2. That is the reason that there's no power required for this device to work and also whatever data signal your media player (DVD, PC) sends on its output (on the connected switcher) the same signal you will receive on both outputs (but not at the same time). That is the only downside with these switchers/distributors. Otherwise they're perfect.
