This GANA HDMI Switch (4K@60Hz bidirectional aluminum switcher) has been a great addition to my setup. I use it to switch between two devices on one TV and it works flawlessly — clean 4K signal with no lag or dropouts. The aluminum build feels solid and the manual button makes switching quick and easy. It’s compact, doesn’t need external power, and is fully compatible with my PS5, Fire Stick, and other devices. I really like this product because it solved a problem that I didn’t know how to fix. I only have one monitor that I normally use with my PC, but I also wanted to use the same monitor to play my PlayStation 5. The problem was that my monitor doesn’t have another HDMI input available. At first I started thinking about buying another monitor just for my PS5, but when I looked at the prices I hesitated a lot because most of them were expensive. The cheaper ones also didn’t have the same good resolution as the monitor I already have. So I started looking for a device that would let me connect both my PC and my PlayStation to the same monitor and switch between them easily. That’s when I found this HDMI switch, and I was honestly surprised by how affordable it was. The device feels well made, the material feels strong and durable, and I also like the color and overall design. The video quality is excellent and I didn’t notice any loss in resolution. Another thing I really like is the size. It’s very small and compact, so it fits anywhere on the desk and doesn’t get in the way at all. What I like the most is how simple it is to use. You just plug in the HDMI cables and that’s it. It doesn’t need batteries or extra power, it just works. I honestly love this product because it saved me from buying another monitor and helped me save a lot of money. This 4k hdmi switch works great, it does exactly what I wanted it to do, I installed a 4k outdoor camera on 1 hdmi input and a directv hub on the other hdmi input and I am able to quickly switch my flatscreen tv from one to the other. And the led indicator shows me which one is on.

Easy switch back and forth - Love it

I bought my HDMI switch in October 2024. It still works but the #2 light does not light up when the #2 port is active.

This HDMI Bidirectional Switch is just what I needed for my particular TV situation. Our often used small LG kitchen TV has only one HDMI port on it. For the past couple of years since I've had the TV, one HDMI slot was sufficient to use with either an Amazon Fire Stick or Roku. We also have had DISH Network for years which used a coaxial cable to the TV. We never needed another HDMI slot until just the past few months ago when we upgraded our DISH Network receiver to a Hopper and Joeys. Our kitchen TV needed to have a Joey plugged into an HDMI slot. Although the Hopper has the Amazon Video integrated into it, for some reason our TVs with the Joeys didn't seem to. I found this HDMI Switch and since it was bidirectional, I was pretty sure it would work. I also purchased a set of short HDMI cables which I used to replace the much unnecessarily longer cable to the Joey. I had read somewhere that shorter cable provides a pretty picture quality. I arrived in record time, I took it out of the package, plugged the DISH Joey cable into the #1 side, and plugged the Amazon Fire stick into the #2 side. I also used that as an opportunity to do some cleaning and cable untangling. When I had it all ready to go, I turned the TV on and since the switch was set to the #1 side with the Joey, the DISH programming came on perfectly, and clearly. I then pushed to button on the switch which easily changes it to the #2 side (with the Amazon Fire Stick). Voila! My Amazon Fire Stick streaming home screen instantly appeared, again with a perfect, and clear picture. My set up was two devices to one TV, but as being bidirectional, it could also be one device to two TV's. I would also like to mention that, as many reviewers have mentioned about the Amazon Fire Stick being too wide, that is the case. However, my Fire Sticks came with an additional extender with a wire and just the plug. I am using this extender with my plug. With the extender the Fire Stick must just kind of lie around rather than being plugged directly into something. Since I've been using my Fire Sticks with the extenders most of the time anyway, this was not an issue for me.

It generally works but sometimes you have switch it back and forth a few times to get it to read or you have switch it and then go back and select the HDMI port again in the tv even if its already selected.
