The Pear Drops are definitely not big or bulky, they are just over an inch at the thickest point. This is an advantage over some of the rounder kegel balls available, which can end up resting inside your muscles without you having to much of the work! Some women find the rounder ball shapes can be tricky to insert and then pull out without tugging. The Pear Drops have been carefully designed to make sure that your pelvic wall muscles will need to contract and flex to hold the weight AND giving you a challenge which will lead to greater control with regular use. They are also really comfortable to insert and remove (with no stretching at all!).
