I’ve been using eneloop batteries around the house for years and they have worked great and last a long time on a charge. The chargers work great and can handle AA & AAA sizes. It charges in a reasonable amount of time and the indicator lights are helpful. The foldable power plug is a bit of a blessing and a curse as it makes it easier to store when not in use but it can break. Although my first charger lasted a long time, some how the power plug broke and I could hear some plastic piece rattling around inside. The plug would not stay in the flipped out orientation which prevented it from charging unless it was sitting just right. I finally got fed up with it but working right so I bought this to replace it. It’s worked great hopefully it lasts as long as the other one, if not longer.

So far, I've had nothing but easy use and good results using this charger with Amazon's high capacity rechargeable batteries. It is much faster than other chargers that I've used, which is a big time saver when I have more than one set of batteries to charge.The four status lights are bright and easy to see, letting you tell at a glance how far along the charging is.The plug folds flat and tucks into the body of the charger, allowing it to easily be packed for travel.The directions say (emphasis added): "...we *recommend* that Panasonic Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are used." This no different than recipes that list a particular brand of ingredient - a marketing decision and not a technical one.One caveat: they caution that the charge is intended "for use in a vertical, upright position", presumably for heat dissipation. This is no problem when plugging into a wall socket, but may not be a good idea to plug into a power strip where it would be laying flat.Overall, I can't think of anything useful that could be added to the charger or changed, other than removing the hype about using their batteries. They've hit the sweet spot for this type of device.

I got this to recharge batteries for video game controllers. This works great and I like the colored LEDs that tell us what needs time to charge.

Charges my Panasonic Eneloop batteries quickly, and gives clear color coded lights to show the progress. By the way, the batteries themselves are excellent too.

I am a big fan of everything Panasonic. From TV's to AAA batteries they never seem to give trouble. Very reliable products. I really liked the fact that you can charge with only 1 battery installed. If you have a wall clock with 1 AA that needs charging, just stick it in by itself. My first recharge was for 4 AA's. The indicator lights were great, and the charge was extremely fast. However, when I removed the batteries I found that they, as well as the charger itself, were VERY hot. I am a little concerned about this. Maybe it is too fast and generates a lot of heat which could damage the charger electronics. The next time I charge 4 batteries I am going to monitor the temperature with an infrared detector.

Love these charger it cost a bit more than other but it charges up by batteries much faster than others.

I use the AA Eneloop Pros on my SP-404 MKII and they work great. Charges my batteries quick. I appreciate the light indicator that shows roughly how much charge each battery is at. The batteries also last way longer than I was expecting.
