Who knew peeing while standing could be this liberating!
I ordered this just a few days before leaving for a 4-day hike in Europe; it arrived the day before my departure. I practiced with it half a dozen times using the toilet (as opposed to in the shower, which works but doesn't simulate real conditions). I am so glad I bought this and couldn't imagine how my trip would have gone without it. The great thing about the pStyle is you don't have to pull your pants down; you can just slightly lower them (at least, that worked for me). It was super easy to learn how to use. That said, if you haven't practiced, you will not likely feel comfortable giving it a try for the first time while on a hike. There were women on my hike who had bought a similar device but were afraid to use it because they hadn't practiced. So why bother buying and bringing it then? From the very first try, it worked for me -- no mess, no leakage. I used it daily during my hike. In remote areas where you don't have much privacy, being able to use this without needing to pull your pants or leggings down is a huge help. I didn't care if someone might have seen me from a distance because I wasn't squatting with my pants down -- nothing was exposed. To carry/store it, I used a zippered fabric pouch I already owned, and kept the pStyle wrapped inside a clean bandana, along with a little pkg of tissue and some hand sanitizer. Because I didn't have water to rinse it with (since the only water I had was in my hydration bladder), I shook it dry and rewrapped it in the bandana. At the end of each day I washed both the device and my bandana with soap and water, then air dried. Last thing: because women aren't used to peeing standing up, we aren't used to knowing where to aim. Steer clear of large leaves that can splash back.

Awesome little tool!! Pee standing, sitting, whatever without worry or removing any clothes!!
Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean & does NOT leak!!! It's funny when you think about it, writing a review for a product that helps us women, Pee standing up!! ๐คฃ๐ But what a lifesaver this item is!!!!! I quite frequently, like always, am out with my fiance and his Buddy's in remote area's or just places where restrooms are few and far between and quite frequently found myself looking for a spot to pee that had at least some degree of privacy. Most of the time it was no easy feat. So I went on the hunt for something that could help solve my issue, and found this little gem!! Total lifesaver!! Then a week or 2 after I got it, my fiance and I were in a bad Motorcycle accident where I was thrown from the bike and sustained injuries. For weeks I couldn't really walk and had to just sit around, also making finding a bathroom impossible. But thanks to this product, I didn't have to worry. It really made it possible for me to still go on adventures, while injured. I even used it multiple times while sitting in my car, peeing out the door. Lol yes! I had to pee out my car door as there was no other privacy in sight. This item also makes it so you can be fully clothed while using it, bringing much relief to the fact that nobody would get a full moon view of my backside!! Or any creepy crawlies trying to hitch a ride on my nether regions....๐๐คฃ I ๐ฏ recommend this product!! I tried others and they were flimsy and untrustworthy to not peeing on myself....

Amazing!!!
It works! It worked the first time I ever tried it, pants on and all, with no difficulties and no leaks! Soooooo excited to use this in the forest, on the trails, but even more so in outhouses and public toilets!! Life just got a lot easier.

Best female urination device
I bought this specifically for a hiking trip to Washington. It has been the best addition to my gear bag. As a woman hiking for long miles through Mt Rainier and Olympic National park the last thing you want is to dehydrate yourself just to avoid needing to pee as often. It works great, keeps your hands clean, no toilet paper needed, its very discrete as well. Definitely get this one if you're considering a urination device.

Fun to pee like a boy!
This little device makes pee fun! haha I have tried this one and the GoGirl and I like this better. Why? I like the hard plastic because it makes it easier to hold it firmly against my body and I like that you can kind of use it to "wipe" after. (maybe too nasty to say but the only reason I knew that was because I had read it in reviews) The plastic is very smooth so the pee just slides off. Shake it after use and it's practically dry. I store it wrapped in my "pee bandana" (a yellow bandana) and I've never had any issues with wetness or smell. If I have water nearby I rinse it right after use but it's not really needed if you wrap it in something. You can rinse it later. I'd recommend practicing with it at home. Try it in the shower, try aiming it at a target, try it with clothes on. Because even though this thing is cool, I have peed all over my clothes on more than one occasion. I find that you have to have it pressed firmly in the right place AND you have to lean forward. After practicing a bit it is pretty easy to find the right place to put it on your body but I make mistakes with the leaning and sometimes clothing can get in the way if you don't want to take your pants off very much. Well, you may be like me and have to take everything off because you peed on yourself lol. I'd recommend also trying other styles to see which one works best for you.

Good tool to have
I travel a lot. I am an older woman and as I end up in various places, and have a broken foot currently. This little device has helped me not have to take my gear off and make my limited time even more limited. Practice at home though. It takes a few times to get your body used to standing and urinating. Once you get it, you may thinkโฆguys really do have more freedom!

A godsend on hikes where squatting isn't practical
It does take a little practice at home to learn how to use the PStyle without making a mess, but once you do, it's easy. I've always squatted to pee when hiking, but knew that on an upcoming trip there might be some situations when a female urination device would be helpful. Even so I was nervous to try it away from home. Then I encounted a trail with poison ivy literally everywhere. Short of squatting right on the trail, I was going to need to get brave enough to use my new PStyle in the wild. Wow! what a game changer! I didn't expose myself to poison ivy or the numerous mosquitos. In addition, when you are all sweaty, it's easier not to have to deal with your underwear sticking to your sweaty body as you try to pull it back up. Later on, it came in handy when I needed to go where there was little privacy. I do admit, that the process is a little slower than just squatting, but I think that is largely the learning curve. How I use mine: 1. Unfasten the hipbelt on my pack 2. Unzip my fly without pulling pants down and pull front of underwear down as needed 3. position PStyle, making sure it is tipped downward and my feet are widely spaced 4. Pee (avoid hard surfaces if posible to avoid splashing 5. Use Pstyle like a squeegie to remove any drips 6. Shake it off as best I can. There will be very little urine on it, so it can go back in the case as is. However, if I am confident that I have enough water with me, I will take a swig and spit it into the PStyle to rinse it off. This particular brand does not include the carrying case, but you will want something. Personally, I didn't like the design of the Pstyle branded one. Since I sew, I just made a drawstring bag from from microfiber eyeglasses cleaning cloth. Note that the PStyle is slightly too long to put into a commercial microfiber sunglasses bag without alteraton.

Amazing - wish I got one sooner
After buying a dirtbike, I was wondering how I would manage in the bush with no facilities, and thought a stand-to-pee device is just the thing I'm looking for. After looking at all the products and going back and forth on which one I should buy, I settled on the pStyle and I'm so glad I did. I tried it in the shower right after it arrived and had success on the first try. Since then I have been using it every time I have to go. I love that I don't have to take my clothes off, I don't get myself all wet like when I sit on the toilet, and that I don't have to use toilet paper after the fact. I've never had it slip and tilting the end down puts enough pressure against the skin that it forms a seal and nothing leaks out. Great design and so easy to use with clothes on. I will carry it with me everywhere!

Female hiking just made a lot easier and private
Read about this on the New York Times app and it lives up to its hype. Easier to use than a she wee, easy to clean looks like going hiking in the bush might just become a bit easier for this female

A hiking must have.
Purchased this for winter hiking/snowshoeing when its cold and very difficult to pull down multiple layers to squat in deep snow! I've tried other types and this one works the best. It is discreet to carry and no leaks/spills.
