As a landscaper for nearly 20 years, I know that tools make the job easier and GOOD tools make it A LOT easier. My wife and I rely on them to get the job done right the first time. Over the years, I have used many pair of "Name Brand" bypass pruners (and most of them only lasted a year or two); while my wife has used the same pair year after year. About 10 years ago, after I broke ANOTHER pair of pruners, my wife told me that it was time I got myself a pair of Felco pruners like hers. I was very hesitant as they cost about twice as much as my regular pruners, but I ordered a pair of Felco 2.(She has a pair of Felco 6) After one day using them I knew she was right.(As usual, but don't tell her) They were AMAZING and still are today. I don't even get out of the truck at a job site without first putting on my Fleco hip holster and dropping in my Felco 2. After all these years, all I have had to do is order a replacement blade for each pruner each year (they even come precoated in tool oil) and it's like we each have a new set of pruners. In the long run I've actually saved money by only buying replacemet blades instead of a new pair of pruners each year. I may never buy another pair of pruners, but if I do, they'll definitely be Felco.

I was unhappy at the thought of spending a lot of money to replace my old Felco pruners. By ordering just the replacement blades I saved quite a few dollars. They blades were easy to install and are really, really sharp.

5K minute job to clean up the pruners and replace the worn out blade with this one. Pruners work like new!

Before ordering this, I was thinking it’s a gamble since so many Falco knockoffs are out in the market. I’m not an expert but based on how it fits and cuts, I’m very certain I got a real Falco. My pruner is same as brand new again!!

My pruner had gotten really dull and could hardly cut anymore. Then it dawned on me; I don't have to replace the whole pruner, I can replace the blade! I found a replacement here, ordered it, and it arrived in 2 days. It was easy to put on, and now my pruner is sharp as new. I'm a very happy gardener once again.

Good blade, although expensive. Must follow installation instructions closely to avoid problems. Somewhat complicated to install.
