Let me start off clearly: I love this beautiful knife. It's razor sharp; it does well with both vegetables and meat. I was so pleased with the very thin slices of tomato I produced with this knife. It cuts through steak/roast beef with ease. And it feels good to hold, to work with. The box it came in could serve as a lovely presentation box if you're giving it as a gift, and I appreciate the safety sleeve that is provided. I note that I finally could no longer sharpen my (much more) expensive chef's knife, and, frankly, I prefer this one. Time will tell, but I think the quality is excellent. So glad I bought it.

Knife is incredible when u first buy it, sharp, perfect balance, nice wood finish. I guess it’s normal but it does get dull overtime so you need to sharpen it… also do not put it in the dishwasher. It will ruin the wood!! The best knife I’ve ever had

Very sharpe sturdy knife. Great quality for the money!! Every kitchen needs a good sharp knife. I had one for about 20 plus years. So I needed a replacement. I was really impressed with the sharpness. It cuts tomatoes paper thin. So I would recommend this knife to anyone who owns a kitchen!!!!
