Raw Pepitas/No Shell Pumpkin Seeds, 5 lbs bag. AA Grade

Bought to use in West African dishes calling for egusi, such as egusi soup (not actually a soup) and egusi pudding (a savory pudding), so needed raw and unsalted seeds.But I also ate them directly (still good without salt) because of the great nutrient density (in particular, fiber and vitamins and minerals; not very concerned with protein intake since all plants have protein, so just eat plenty and variety).These looked great and high quality - plump, green and very inviting - and taste was a mild nuttiness (possibly bland if used to high salt nuts). They also store well considering I finished the last of it just last month, and I did nothing special all those years (just kept in container at room temp - I forgot about the second container).I'll definitely buy again until I grow my own.Btw, there are easy recipes for pumpkin seed tofu and also scramble (to replace scrambled eggs - see Mary's Test Kitchen, among others).

Bought because I read it was a good natural dog wormer. It said you could brown them if dogs wouldn't eat raw. After browning in butter and garlic powder I ate them. Absolutely delicious !My dogs love them raw I just drop with their dry food they dig them out. Not sure if they really worm them but figure it's a healthy treat regardless. Very fresh product.

No unpleasant surprises here. The seeds are what they should be in look, smell, and taste. The price was lower than others on Amazon. I'll buy again when these run out. No salt works well for adding them to my oatmeal.

I use these mainly when I make granola. Disappointed when I found a few shell pieces - will now have to sort them before using. Otherwise very fresh and tasty. I freeze them for longer storage and they keep fresh for more than a year.

I've ordered bulk seeds and nuts from other places. These are the best quality pumpkin seeds I have ever bought. This is my 2nd order of them. Hope they continue to sell them and the price is reasonable.

Good color, good flavor, good smell. I can find no fault with these seeds, great snacking!
