Great fun!
I bought 2 boxes and sent one to my daughter, who lives several states away. We connect on Skype and play Trivial Pursuit together. Great fun!

odd questions
trivial pursuit is fun, but you have to keep in mind that some of these questions are outdated. A lot of the questions are worded strangely making them hard to understand. And sometimes the questions don't fit the category. But all in all, it is still a fun game to play.

B-Sides to the Originals
My wife and I went through the original Genus Edition several times and started recognizing questions so I picked up this set to keep our games fresh. It's certainly nice to have another huge set of cards, but a player can definitely tell that these are the "B-sides" and of slightly lower quality than the originals. The writing can occasionally be poor, there seems to be more "Yes or No"-type quesitons, and some are just bad questions. The Majority of the cards are just fine, but you will get some duds several times in a game. This is typical in any trivia game, one might feel some information is more trivial than necessary, but here the style seems to fluctuate too much.In the end, I would still buy these again. Nothing else comes as close to the originals. The newer and specialty versions of TP I've played don't touch this. And if you've played this a lot, you've probably noticed it was made by Canadians- expect unfamiliar idioms. Also, if you don't know the answer, J.F.Kennedy is always a good guess- They are obsessed with him!

A great expansion to a great game, but...
While there was nothing wrong with the product, there was one big issue that was not stated in the product description; this product was made in Canada. What this means is that all of the general knowledge questions were from a Canadian perspective. So, unless you're up on your Canadian television shows from the 60's and 70's, Quebec boating competitions and the winding branches of the English monarchy, don't expect to be able to answer the questions. Of course, it was nice to learn a bit about Canadian history and culture, but it sure made for a long game...
