Fantastic
I was a bit unsure with a mesh bottom at first, as there’s absolutely no support or cushioning. But in all honestly, it’s fantastic - really comfortable, high quality and provides plenty of support. Really easy to assemble, and looks fantastic too. I got it on the prime day sale so got an absolute bargain too!

4 Years later *edit* and 2 Months
I thought I should give an update, to my original review. After dismantling the chair, I thought I'd give tracking down a replacement part a try, after a bit of browsing I decided to contact SIHOO's customer services. The chair is well out of warranty but thought I might be able to buy a replacement. The reason I've bumped this back to a 5 star review is they sent out the part for free. My favourite price. The parts not an exact replacement but it turns it back into a functioning and comfortable chair. One issue to watch out for, the cylinder piston will be very well attached, I needed to buy one of these to get it to extract: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C7VY2MX1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 (Previously) I've been using this as an in-home office and gaming chair for the last 4 years. Up to the last few weeks, it served my average size (6' tall, 14 stone) self well. It has seen some serious posterior hours in that time as like many I've been working from home and continue to do so. (8 hour working day and an evening of gaming most nights). When it arrived it was easy to assemble, a bit of hex key / spanner work during assembly but nothing tricky. The chair is comfortable, I have pulled 16 hour days in the thing with no issue (of course moving around occasionally, coffee doesn't make itself). Support wise it's adjustability is fine, good back and neck support. The neck could be a little stiffer maybe but not a huge deal. So, why the average review. The picture is the clue here. After 4 years of service the metal connecting plate of the backrest has started to bend and sheer. The washer's have squashed out of existence as well, maybe I could have caught the pending break if I'd spotted this earlier. If you're not going to sit in this chair night and day I think it's still a good chair. And if they were to extend the connecting portion of the frame it would probably prevent this from happening. It just has too much pivoting potential over those 3 screws.

A good, premium bit of kit. Thumbs up!
Chuffed with this. Chair real straight forward to assemble and a lovely tool provided for the bolts, much better than the usual allen key you get. Made it a lot easier. Chair is sturdy , feels well made, feels expensive. Ideally would have liked a bit more adjustment on the lumbar support, but other than that, nothing to fault. No actual user operation instructions provided (other than assembly), which felt a little lacking, but simply review the video on the website for those instructions. 3 year guarantee seals the deal. Highly recommended.

This chair healed my back!
I’m not bothered in general with reviews, but need to write about this one! Soooo, I decorate cookies, work long hours and sit in a chair many hours per day... After 3 years of using a very humble office chair, with no back support, I ended up paying therapists, chiropractors, you name it- KCR... I thought my problem was my lower back, I couldn’t even walk to do my grocery shopping cause I felt pain all the way... I used to lean on the trolley🙈😢 So in general I could not walk for too long, in the park with my son, I couldn’t stand too long to wash dishes, etc... I started to get really worried- and not working was not an option, as I’m single- So I said I’ll change the chair and see... Did a good search, and got this one cause I liked the idea of having the lower back adjustable cushion. I’m 5’7 feet, so not too tall, and the cushion is set to the max inside, and at the maximum height, unfortunately for others (cause if they’re taller they won’t be able to set it higher) - but for me it works, so am extremely happy about that! Everytime I sit, I feel like that cushion is massaging my lower back, and keeps my spine straight, for many hours- or much straighter than my old chair.... I must have it for about 2-3 weeks, I need to say that I can happily stand and wash dishes, walk with no pain, or way less than before... 🥳🥳🥳 I’m so glad I got it, before I damaged any further my back from sitting long hours in the wrong posture... I have ordered the grey colour, suits my living room so nice, it’s literally beautiful! It’s a very heavy and sturdy chair, seems super strong and durable... Was a bit concerned when I saw the seat is made just of mesh, so will need to hope that will last... The airlift works like a charm, nice and easy... I assembled it myself, comes well packed with a nice key- really basic assembling (if I can do it, you can!🙈😂) Took me some adjustment to it, I mean time to get used to it, being so heavy and imposing, but now I’m ok, and most of all, really greatfull for getting rid of that silly back pain, till the point it was parallyzing and had to lie down! So for anybody working from home, and not only,(thus can be used in an office too) take care of your back posture as in time you’ll spend more money on therapies than on a good chair! Well worth the money!!!

Good chair, would recommend
After my £60 ikea chair of 7 years started hurting my arse, I felt like it was time for a new chair. The chairs in my works London office are amazing but £1000, so was looking for something cheaper but similar. Ordered Friday. Arrived Saturday. Assembled Monday morning - 25mins from opening the box to it being fully built. Easy to build - use a drill / driver / 5mm hex bit to make your life easier. I spent a lot of time reviewing chair options (spreadsheet and all). This seemed like good value and a mid priced range. £170 is a great price for this chair, especially as I use it full time. It’s comfy, highly adjustable and well built. Arm rests are great. Wasn’t bothered about the headrest and can’t see myself using it so may take it off. Small mark on the silver bit on the back of the chair, but doesn’t bother me. Was quite unsure about a mesh seat as I’ve never used one like that, took a chance, and it’s great, very supportive and comfy. Only hesitation - unsure on the wheels/castors. Seem to snag on my laminate, so may buy others from Amazon and replace. Great chair, well done 10/10 so far

Good Value, Easy to Build
(NEW) UPDATE: So I've had this chair for a while now and I've found it really is better than every single other chair at this price point - I know this because I have had friends ask me for a good priced chair around the same I paid and well... It doesn't get any better than this one at all. I'm changing this to 5 STARS! The company is making good strides into providing the best customer service possible, so even if you do run into an issue you can just email the company and they'll take care of everything for you. I think this is going to be my "go-to" company for buying chairs from now on, easily. Their customer service and the actual chair itself is such high quality, you won't find anything like it for the price charged. Thanks :) (OLD) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've got carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve issues in my arm/wrist because of my constant gaming and university work. I needed a chair to be comfortable in and this is as close as it gets without spending thousands of pounds on a Herman Miller or Steelcase and let's face it, no chair is worth thousands of pounds. Positives: - Great breathable mesh on BOTH the back and bottom, just like the Aeron chair (which I've replaced with this). - Comes with a great headrest! Some companies would charge a lot of money for this. - Very adjustable, not only the fully moveable armpads and height, but also the backrest and headrest. - Comes with gloves! What a thoughtful thing, keeping our hands clean during assembly. Brilliant job guys! :) - Small company, so they offer a lot of support and give you a direct email to contact them if you have questions. - Very easy to set up. Don't forget to use the washers when screwing. Negatives: - Armrests are still too hard and made out of the standard plastic they all use, only slightly softer. Pretty big letdown for such a nice chair. If they had good soft leather armpads (like the Aeron) it would instantly make this chair #1 on Amazon. - They use quite a lot of plastic in packaging which I'm not a fan of. If they move towards replacing the plastic with paper/card, I would feel much better about supporting this company. Save the environment and you'll have me as a customer for life. This is still the first day I have for owning this. I ran into an issue where I couldn't figure out how to lock the backrest again, but all you gotta do is push the height-lever in or out. Worked it out pretty quick but it should be listed in the instructions instead. I might look at this review again and change it, if the chair breaks quickly or has further issues. I'll let you guys posted every few months on the chair so keep checking back on this review. I'm giving this a 4 out of 5. High priced, good value, good comfort but missing some key things. Hope this helps. If you found this helpful, please hit the "HELPFUL" button below. It'll really help me too. :)

Great chair, comfy, adjustable and cheap - good herman miller alternative
Hi, I use a SIHOO M57 chair for £250, full time 10-16 hours a day for the past 9 months, I’m 5ft8 90kg and 20. This chair got rid of my back pains. This is the full mesh chair with a single-piece backrest and adjustable lumbar. I highly recommend the M57 (model can be found in Technical details on amazon page) and having sat on Herman miller I do feel this is a good alternative and much cheaper. Not a 5 star chair as I had to “fix” some things during my use like the squeaks and armrest heights. I will be keeping this chair for a long time to come. Pros –---------------------------- Good mesh quality and thickness. It’s soft, not rough, its pattern is interesting and the grey is 2 tones for the pattern. its not stretchedd and kept its shape all this time.it's not torn or frayed on the edges. i am carefull when i eat as it is difficult to clean, i use a seat cover ( very large pillow cover) and headrest cover ( another pillow cover) so to protect the mesh incase of spiled drinks. Soft foam base edge – near your knees the base has a 15 cm foam padding that stretches from side to side and is below the mesh. This is great as it means you never feel the frame of the chair. The headrest is amazing and useable, I use it when working, gaming and relaxing. The armrest and chair functions are highly adjustable and comfy, armrest. The chair legs for the wheels are thicker wider legs, I rest my feet on them barefoot very comfortably some chairs have thinner legs and I find these uncomfortable because I like to rest my leg on them sometimes. Lumbar support is of good adjustability and positioned well. Once set it never changed positioned or loosened. This feature removed my back pain The backrest has 3 locked (fixed)options or free lean. I use regular upright for work, 2nd setting for gaming and 3rd for watching videos, movies or relaxing. A plus to this is the headrest works well with each position but does require you to adjust it. Cons --------------------------- The backrest can squeak, this was easily fixed with the use of wd40 on the blots and the lean back system. When you unlock the backrest so now it’s fully adjustable and then let's say select the furthest lean back option and you sit like that for 10 mins + and then when the chair is reset to regular position you may notice it’s height has increased. With a short desk, I notice this all the time and it is annoying that I then have to re-lower the chair to my original height, DISCLAIMER – this has only happened a few times with a varying degree of height changes. Not sure how it happens even after a full rebuild, it might be a fault with my chair. I have noticed that the armrest from the box was uneven when attached to the base of the chair. So one was slightly higher than the other. You notice this if you rest your elbows on them and then hold a phone 2 handed. DISCLAIMER – this can be fixed by purchasing thin spacers to add to the blots of the armrest. Summary ---------------------- I highly recommend the M57 (model can be found in Technical details on amazon page) and having sat on Herman miller I do feel this is a good alternative and much cheaper. Not a 5 star chair as I had to “fix” some things during my use like the squeaks and armrest heights. I will be keeping this chair for a long time to come. this chair is my go-too now. at work or school nothing compares, unless i upgrade to £1000 chairs, which i will not ahahaha.

Looks nice but very uncomfortable!
Looks nice but is VERY uncomfortable! Brought it as reviews said it was comfy. Now I'm in more pain from a few hours of sitting in it than I've been in my old dinning room chair which this chair was meant to be an upgrade from. The meshing is a good premise and I've sat in office chairs with mesh back before, but this chair's mesh back and seat gives too easily. The seat should have some form of cushion instead of just mesh. The seat and back sinking is noticeable and I'm well within the weight capacity of the chair. The arms also aren't the same height and is noticeable when resting your arms on it! I was going to try and get help with the manufacturer support to resolve the arm issue but the chair is so uncomfortable I am likely to start a return asap. My husband also found it uncomfortable after being in it for a short while and suggested maybe using cushions to help but I don't see why I should use cushions to make a new chair comfortable after spending almost £200 on it, which I know is not a lot in comparison to others but it is still a large amount of money for someone on a budget and in need of a office chair to work from home full time. Disappointed as really had high hopes for this chair, was excited to order and receive it. Had thought of giving it another try tomorrow but I'm in so much pain today. I could barely sit still in the chair. I kept adjusting it to see if that would help but nothing made the chair fully comfortable to sit in for more than 10-20 minutes at a time without moving about to ease the back, neck, shoulder or bottom pain. Again, very disappointed, wished it had lived up to expectation!
