Primered, Front Bumper Cover Fascia for 2005 2006 Toyota Camry w/Out Fog 05 06, TO1000284

My son has a 2005 Toyota Camry LE, and a large exhaust pipe from a logging truck (heading in the *opposite* direction) poked a hole through his front bumper cover and the backing foam piece. Rather than paying $600 to have a body shop fix the issue, I bought this bumper cover, and it worked out super. It was shipped folded up, which makes sense as shipping it unfolded would be a big hassle with regard to packing it up and the cost. However, we have a couple of slight fold marks on top, but fortunately these aren't visible once the hood is closed. As stated, it was primed. He wet sanded the surface lightly, used oil & grease remover, then painted a few coats of his base color. After that, he applied a few coats of clear topcoat. I was worried about installation since the only relevant video I found on YouTube didn't show the entire installation. There were four bolts on top and seven bolts on the bottom. Two of the top bolts are obvious once you open the hood. The bottom bolts are obvious once you lay on your back and scoot under the bumper. So the two bolts I was worried about were on top, at the ends. To access these, you need to get into each front wheel well and remove each wheel well clip (one per side). When you push the wheel well aside, the top bolt is only an inch or two away, so very accessible at that point. I also bought the foam part that sits behind the bumper cover, since I knew ours was damaged. It was maybe another $23, and simply sits between the bumper and the bumper cover (no screws/bolts to attach it). I hope this helps!

I installed this on a 2006 Toyota Camry. It fit perfectly and looks great. Yes, it comes folded in thirds. I was a little worried about that but I cut the tape and let it sit in the house for a few days. It opened up and was almost perfectly shaped. I did use a heat gun on the two spots where it was folded, but with very little heat, I had them shaped perfectly. Body shop wanted ten times the cost of this cover. The cover was not drilled for a front license plate—nice for states where one is not required. My state requires one, and the cover has molded in screw holes on the back so I drilled those out — perfect — no worries about getting them crooked or in the wrong place. This was a pretty easy job.

Ordered this to replace the original after a couple of deer decided to remodel the front end. It came folded in thirds and was worried on how they shipped it, but followed the instructions and it popped right out and fit the car perfectly. Unfortunately my daughter got a hold of my car 10mo later and totaled it. Oh well. At least the part fit.
