Anthelios Melt-In Milk Sunscreen for Face & Body SPF 60

The LaRoche-Posay Anthelios Melt-In formula gives your skin a velvety feel with a matte appearance. This is an excellent product that absorbs quickly and leaves no chalky white or thick oily residue. UVA and UVB protection at spf 60. Two out of four of the active ingredients are double the amount in other brands and it has more of the two remaining ingredients so I guess it’s not my imagination that it’s more effective than other brands I’ve used. No detectable odors. It left white marks on the edge of the neck of my black crew neck T-shirt when I didn’t rub the sunscreen in and let it dry. However the marks came out in the wash. It stays where you put it, but keep it away from the eyes. I have sensitive skin and this formula doesn’t irritate me. I do wash it off after sun exposure so it is not on my skin all day. It’s expensive probably because it contains more of the active ingredients, but It is the best sunscreen I have tried. Their other formulas are also excellent but this melt in formula is my favorite.

OK, I am officially impressed with this sunscreen. I live in a high UV index area and wear sunscreen daily. After trying numerous brands, I had previously gravitated towards Asian brands such as Beauty of Joseon, Medicube, Haruharu, and Tatcha. I find that this product from La Roche-Posay rivals the Asian brands quite well. I don't have an issue with a white cast after rubbing it in. I like that this is SPF60 (the Asian brands I mentioned are all SPF50), so I'm getting just a bit greater sun protection. It dries quickly and is not greasy or sticky. And like the Asian brands, I feel more like I have applied a moisturizer than a sunscreen. Better yet, I purchased this in a 5 ounce tube (compared to the 1.7 ounce tube that seems most typical of the Asian brands). Finally, if you click on this page to check the price history, you will see that Amazon occasionally puts this product on sale.

This sunscreen feels much lighter than many high-SPF formulas I’ve tried and blends into the skin without leaving a heavy white cast. The texture spreads easily and gives a hydrated finish without feeling greasy, which makes it comfortable for everyday wear on both the face and body. I also liked that it layered well under makeup without pilling. I used this during long outdoor days and it held up well while still feeling comfortable on the skin. The SPF 60 protection is reassuring, especially for travel, beach days, festivals, or daily sun exposure. Overall, this is a reliable sunscreen option if you want strong protection with a more wearable, skincare-like texture.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for about a week now, and honestly, I’ve liked it even more than I expected. The skin on my face feels much softer and healthier, and one thing I’ve definitely noticed is that my dark circles are gradually looking a bit lighter and less tired. I love it because it doesn’t feel heavy, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. I also like that it works well under makeup or just on its own for everyday use. For now, I’m giving it 4 stars because I haven’t been using it for very long yet and want to see more results, but so far, I definitely feel a difference in my skin. If I continue to see more positive changes, I’ll come back to update my review.

I’m 39 years old, so I’ve tried enough sunscreens over the years to confidently say this is the best sunscreen I’ve purchased so far! It provides really nice coverage without feeling heavy, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin without leaving those annoying white spots or a greasy finish. I also love that I can apply makeup over it without any issues, which is a big plus for me. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re going to be outside in the sun for more than about 3 hours, you’ll need to reapply another layer, especially if you’re sweating or spending time outdoors. absolutely love it and will definitely purchase it again.

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. It feels very similar to regular lotion and doesn’t leave a white cast. Normally when I’m on vacation at the beach my skin will feel so dry from the salt water, sand and wind, but this sunscreen has kept my skin moisturized without needing regular moisturizer after I shower. I’m very fair and this kept me from burning on vacation. I will definitely keep using this one!

This sunscreen is definitely more expensive than many other options, but the quality makes it worth it. It goes on smoothly, absorbs well, and doesn't leave a heavy or greasy feeling on my skin.
