L'Oreal Paris Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color, Smokey Silver, Pack of 1 Hair Dye Kit

I really like this shade. I usually bleach my hair to about a level 9 platinum blonde before applying this silver-gray color, and the result looks beautiful. The only downside is that after a few washes, the color can sometimes fade with a slight green tint. Other than that, it’s easy to use and gives a really nice cool-toned gray if your hair is light enough beforehand.

This blends with existing greys easily for that awkward stage of trying to grow the roots out. I put it on from the bottom towards the top/scalp area and purposely don’t try to fill all the gaps. That what that awkward “line” is blended away and my greys can grow out more naturally

Smokey Silver review, worked pretty well, my hair was light silver, white before, so it did cover well, however, it got pretty dark, not seeing highs and lows as advertised, is now more charcoal looking. Not hating color, but wished it had more tones as box cover shows. Smell is really strong, fyi. Not sure how long will last, as just did it yesterday, decent price as is more in Target.

The smokey silver hair dye is not silver. It's a light ash brown. I could not be more disappointed. I bought this to blend ash brown hair into silver and steel gray roots. I have spent time growing out my natural hair and had about 3 in of roots. I foiled to get light ash brown as a cover for a more red brown. I waited and then overdyed my hair with silver. I did not foil because the product picture showed that it would be silver on silver hair. Instead, it turned my roots light ash brown and I am so very disappointed. I will now have to spend even longer growing my hair out to its natural color. I just wanted something to turn the ash brown even ashier. I did not think it would turn my roots brown. Never buy a silver hair dye. They don't work.

Love this products color but it last only a few washes. like 2 washes! If you have dry hair it does not hold up well to conditioner after toning . So condition well before toning for best results. Too bad it does not last over a few washes. But while it’s in it’s pretty!!

Wanted to ditch the dye for good and grow out to my natural gray and white hair. Which I have once before. I love my gray hair but after a new cut decided to color again and wasn't happy with it and absolutely regretted it. I left it alone for about 4 months and really hated the unflattering line so I took the plunge and bleached out the color with L'Oreal Paris Feria Platinum Bounce Bond Care Lightening System, which did a fabulous job. For reference my hair was a light auburn. The secret is to wear a foil cap and check it every 10 to 15 mins. After 35 mins my hair was lightened up to almost platinum, (which is the key) I added a purple conditioning toner, rinsed , dried, then added the color. Because my hair was so porous after bleaching the color took beautifully. Now my natural white that is underneath is still there but it looks bright and beautiful, so no issues with that. I'm going to color once more to "seal the deal' then after just add gloss for silver hair once a week, and let my hair transition back to gray. Could not be happier with how it came out. Honestly though, it would not have come out this gorgeous without first bleaching it. The photos do not do it justice because of the lighting, but it literally came out just as the box indicated.

This is the perfect color People complaining just don't understand how to properly dye hair. First you HAVE to lighten to almost a platinum blonde. Then this color is perfect. I even got complemented by a hairdresser when going for a cut. For reference my hair is medium brown.
