Not cheap to buy but a great taste this is my second purchase.

I consider this to be the best tablet we've tried. It's tasty with just the right texture and amount of crumbliness. We keep buying it and it never disappoints. The only downside is that one piece is never enough so it doesn't last very long. 😄

Hitherto, I've bought tablet in the smaller bags, but this time I bought the new tub. I very much wanted to tell you the fugde in the tub is different, not really tablet. It is, however, delicious. So I'll keep the tub. Howevcr, the last two small bags of tablet were spoiled, even though they were opened before the use-by date. You might like to have a look at them and perhaps advise they be stored in the fridge? Let me know if you make changes to the tub before my next greedy order! Yourr fudge is still the best, so I hate to complain! Bill

I have to argue…these 2 x 150 g packs have gone into my ‘special, just-for-me cupboard’, especially as no one else saw them arrive! From Giffnock, Glasgow…without doubt, this is the closest TABLET I have found, to date, that looks & tastes just like my Nanna used to make as little wrapped bars for local church funds. She had her own recipe; a treasured piece of paper handed down when the time was right, like folks did in those days. I ordered this for my boyfriend so I can’t comment personally, but it was delivered faster than expected. When he commented on it, he told me, “It was gorgeous. Might be the best I’ve ever had.”

I bought this as part of a birthday gift for a friend who came from Scotland but has lived in the English Midlands for some twenty years. I used to buy her tablet from our local Thorntons shop, but that closed down and they don't seem to stock it online. I've tried various other outlets and varieties of tablet but none of them seemed to be quite right. This, on the other hand, really hit the spot. She said that the texture is perfect - quite hard to bite but melts away in the mouth; even the Thorntons brand was a bit too soft and chewy. The flavour is great, sweet but not sickly. The resealable packaging keeps it nice and fresh, so she has been able to nibble a couple of pieces a day with no loss of flavour. She gave it the greatest accolade she can - it tastes just like the tablet her grandma used to make back in Aberdeen. I shall definitely be back for more!

I actually bought this based on other reviews and totally agree - this is the best tablet I have tasted in years. I told myself I would just have a square a day but first packet nearly gone already - no regrets!

The flavour of this is lovey, and honestly worth the money. I have to say delivery ended up being a day late, when I took this to the supplier, they told me to take it up with the post office. I personally hate when I buy something then it's up to me to sort it with the delivery service, but hay if you are ok with this that's fine. Some people may find it a little small, but if you think of the ingredients that goes in to this plus delivery, it's incredibly good value, I can't make it myself now, so to find a product that tastes so good is brilliant. I would highly recommend. This is also a lovely 🎁 gift to send someone, it comes boxed, I would happily send this to friends and family.
