Definitely not proper blackout curtains, but get the room plenty dark for a good price. I can only see the tiniest bit of light coming through them, which is great. They also help insulate my windows from the summer heat nicely. We'll see how they do with the cold in the window. I got the navy blue ones and they look wonderful. I love the color and the way they sit. They are plenty soft, but that doesn't mean much for window dressing. Great quality for a price I didn't mind paying. I can't attest to the durability yet because I've only had them a few months, but they aren't falling apart and I find with curtains that have the metal hoops on them like these ones usually fall apart quicker. These one's haven't done that yet.

I knew what I was getting when I purchased 'the white' curtains; two layers of the black curtains help keep the light out, while the white curtain keeps the black curtains from absorbing the Suns UV's over the Summer Months. The white curtains do little to nothing at keeping the light out if you're working nights, but they are a great layer to add to help keep the interiors cool. The Winter Months, the white curtains will be cleaned; then stored while the black curtains will be used to collect the Suns UV's for the warmth. I really do love how affordable, but good quality these curtains are; versus spending a hundred or so on other curtains, you're spending FRACTIONS with these curtains and prove that working nights does not need to be complicated or expensive. I thought the weight was pretty heavy, but it's also what I expected from the product when I'm looking for something to not only help keep the light out; but also add critical insulation and save energy between Summer and Winter. In the Summer Months, my room is easily the coolest; yet warmest in the Winter Months. Not really worried about style or look; otherwise they both are fine in my books depending on your preferences. For me, a simple look and style is all that is required; very durable and simple curtains that I love using daily for work, aside from using for privacy although peeping toms are not my concern. I would expect them to perform flawlessly for that purpose, the highest lumen flashlight is not going to be able see past even one layer of the white curtains; and the black curtains, you won't even know someone is trying to use a flashlight to look into your windows because even the Sun can't look in...

I love these curtains. I wanted a blackout curtain for my bedroom window because of my neighbor's automatic light on his garage that shines in my window. I did not want a dark color but a lighter color that still blocked out the light. I saw these in baby blue and thought they would be perfect. They were easy to put on, the length is perfect and they do a fantastic job of blocking out the light and even help keep the room cooler during the day. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the curtain is not really a baby blue but more like a turquoise. It is still a pretty color and they do the job well.

I really love these curtains! I put these in a basement bedroom where it gets extra cold in the winter from the cold seeping in through the window and I feel like these curtains do a great job at preventing that as much as possible. I don’t really have any issues with my room getting too hot in the summer so I can’t speak on whether or not they’re good at keeping the heat out, but it’s good with the cold. I also don’t get as much sunlight in the basement window because it’s in the basement, so I can’t make a full review on how well it does at blocking the sunlight out. I think it does a great job at blocking the sunlight out, though. I get sun beams in through the window in the morning which is annoying when I’m trying to sleep in, and these curtains do a wonderful job at blocking it out so I can stay asleep. I would say there’s still a tiny bit of light that you can see through the curtains but it doesn’t glare on your eyes at all— it’s more just if you open your eyes, you can see it through the curtains, but if you’re trying to sleep it won’t bother you. They weren’t wrinkled when I received them, but they did have some creases from shipping, so I ironed them. I love the color and I think they work and look great! Thank you!

I bought these curtains for my bedroom window that gets a lot of afternoon sunlight. They do their job and block out the sunlight.The color was spot on from the pictures and the material very soft to the touch. I definitely recommend these curtains.

Arrived as described and in excellent condition. Fabric was softer than I expected. I tested both sides of these curtains for any visibility from an inside and outside perspective; there was zero, zilch, nada! Blackout means complete darkness. Period. These are as advertised and do the job magnificently for the price being asked. I bought 2 sets of 2 and will likely return to this seller for future curtain purchases I make.

Not as Dark as they say & i wanted I could not return I lost the package got tosses with out me knowing so hear they sit... If i had the package they would have gone back
