I have silver matte paint on my motorcycle, works wonders on it, no shine no residue good as new clean bike.

How do you know if it is great for matte finishes? Seems to be a good soap, but for the money, is it necessary.

My motorcycle has a matte finish, so I spent a long time looking for something that doesn’t make it shiny. This stuff works great.I use this wash with the matte sealant, and the bike still looks new without any gloss or fake shine. No waxing, no weird residue—just clean. It doesn’t streak, doesn’t change the finish, and actually feels like it’s made for matte paint instead of “close enough.”If you’ve got a matte bike or car and you’re tired of products that ruin the look, this does the job. Simple, effective, and worth it.

Ordered this to wash my motorcycle (MT-09) and so I really didn't need to use a lot of it. It did exactly what I needed which was to clean the bike without ruining the paint job. I did not use this with a hose/attachment. Instead, I poured a small amount on a pad and applied it to the bike. Doing it that way though still produced a good amount of suds. So, I was impressed there.Again, it's a motorcycle which isn't very large and I was concerned about the soapy water potentially ruining exposed parts.

TCG has set my standard on matte finish soap! I tried this right away on my new matte finished Sportage, and after going thru the first bottle- I quickly ordered a 2 pack to keep this stuff stocked in my bucket!Pros:-Not abrasive, and soft on the finish (and hands!).-Smells great! (although I think bugs also may find it appealing too)-Price. Great deal for a quality matte wash.Only Con:-Since it is a soft soap and hard scrubbing is not good for the finish, I usually need multiple passes to remove some harder stains and clean dirty areas. My first bottle gave me 5 washes using the TCG foam hose attachment. If you wash often or have a large car, I imagine burning through bottles of this stuff pretty quickly.I HIGHLY recommend this soap for your matte/satin finished . This also won me over and made me a Chemical Guys believer! All I ask is can you offer a large refill of this and/or can we get a more concentrated heavy duty formula?

This detergent works great on Matte finish paint.

Works super well for my BMW frozen arctic grey. Easy to use. Get the wooly mammoth drying towel, works perfect.
