I have suffered from Tinea Versicolor for years and my daughter has it too. summer is the worst and the first time we used the soap it was almost completely gone and no itching at all.

It works!
I’ve been trying numerous creams, lotions and powders to deal with a fungal infection. Terrasil has been the best product I’ve used. Using both the soap and the cream has given me the most relief I’ve had in months. I will continue to order and use Terrasil as long as needed to keep this rash away.

Good Effort, But Not a Complete Solution for Me
I decided to give the Terrasil Tinea Treatment 2-Product Ointment and Cleansing Bar System a try when I was dealing with tinea versicolor. The fact that it included both a soap bar and an ointment was appealing, as I was hoping for a comprehensive solution to tackle this skin issue. While it didn't completely cure my tinea versicolor, I understand that this condition can be quite stubborn and might require stronger measures, possibly even a prescription medication. Given that, I believe a 4-star review is appropriate to reflect the product's effort and my overall experience. The soap bar was gentle on my skin and had a nice lather. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed after each use. It's great to have a product that's specifically formulated for tinea treatment while still being mild on the skin. The inclusion of the ointment was also a plus, and it felt soothing upon application. The texture wasn't too greasy, which was a relief. However, my tinea versicolor didn't completely clear up with this treatment. While I did notice some improvement in the appearance of the affected areas, the patches persisted to a certain extent. I understand that the effectiveness of such products can vary based on the severity of the condition, so I'm not overly disappointed. In all fairness, I appreciate that Terrasil offers a more natural alternative for tinea treatment. It's clear that they've put effort into creating products that are safe and gentle for the skin. I also appreciate the convenience of having a two-product system that's easy to incorporate into my skincare routine. Ultimately, while the Terrasil Tinea Treatment 2-Product Ointment and Cleansing Bar System didn't provide me with a complete resolution to my tinea versicolor, I do believe it's a worthwhile option for those with milder cases or as a complementary treatment. If your condition isn't too severe, this might be a suitable solution. Just remember that for more stubborn cases, consulting a healthcare professional for stronger intervention might be necessary. (mind my half used soap bar)

The cream works really well! The soap is a good reminder.
I have struggled with an annoying patch of tinea for a few months. The creams before this one were all unpleasant. However, the cream for this one smells nice and I’m happy to use it. It clearly helps so much, way better than the previous creams I’ve tried. Because of the pleasant smell it’s easier to motivate myself to continue usage as well. I’m not convinced the soap does anything extra beyond being a reminder to keep the area extra clean. I do like having a dedicated soap for it so I don’t have to worry about spreading, if that is how tinea even works. I would still buy this pack because of the reminder factor of the soap, but if you don’t need a reminder then I might just go with the cream.

Too expensive, doesn't last long, works awesome!
Okay, well, it definitely made a difference. But I don't think 50 bucks for 5 days of ointment is totally worth it. Basically the only active ingredient is clotrimazole, and you can get this in lotramin AF for WAY cheaper. It definitely worked, but I had to buy another tube of ointment (which I ended up getting lotramin AF for less than $10) like, idk if lotramin AF will work better than this stuff, but you've got to buy 5 tubes worth before you spend as much as one of these. The soap could also help so I guess there's that. Tl;DR: it works quite well but a 50g tube of ointment doesn't last long enough to get rid of tinea versicolor, there are MUCH cheaper options that just might not work as quick, and it's really expensive.

Works good
I got the bigger bottle and it worked pretty fast. Most of my spots are completely gone. Used the soap in the shower and then put a thin layer of the cream on after you get out wherever you need.

RIPOFF
I’ve used this product twice now, but after doing a lot of research and comparing price and active ingredients this is a complete ripoff. FIRSTLY the soap is trash it’s not even medicinally anti fungal, I repeat it has no proven anti fungal medication in it, it has some natural plant but that has no peer reviewed effect on rescuing fungus, so it’s snake oil, it’s also just garbage soap, it lathers like a brick and is slippery than a cat fish, I used it religiously and when I did my research and found out it literally doesn’t even kill fungus I was pissed. The cream is worse, why? Because you get half an oz for basically $25 because as I said the soap is POINTLESS. So now we’re paying $25 for half an oz if cream that will last you less than a week if you actually have tinea versicolor and are addressing it. Now I’ll tell you why I’m truly upset, after doing my research I found that Miconazole (specifically globe brand) is clinically more effective than clotrimazole that’s in Terrasil, and it’s $5 FIVE DOLLARS. IT IS MORE CLINICALLY EFFECTIVE THAN TERRASIL. It is a higher dose and has peer reviewed studies that show how effectively anti fungal it is. Also it’s a WHOLE OZ so let’s not compare apples to apples unless we consider the true cost, to get 1oz of cream with this kit (it’s the only anti fungal aspect of this kit) you would spend $50 . Now if you bought the cream alone form terrasil it’s $16/17 , so to get an oz would be at least $32, COMPARED TO $5 OF MICONAZOLE. And on top of that you can get an actual anti fungal soap to use if you just buy selenium sulfide shampoo aka head and shoulders or an off brand like Amazon basics which is also $5, and thats actually effective. The fake terrasil soap is 2.65oz , the Amazon basics is 11oz and actually anti fungal. So you can make a more effective not cheating honest kit yourself by purchasing globe miconazole and Amazon basics dandruff shampoo, get 2/3x the amount of product, product that works better, product that actually works and isn’t a scam and you’d save $15. That’s why I’m so pissed, I bought this kit twice now and yes the cream does have clinically proven anti fungal clotrimazole, so it works but it’s so expensive when there is cheaper more effective options. The soap is what really pisses me off, it’s not anti fungal and is also literally the worst soap I’ve ever used, dollar tree soap bars are better and cost $1.25. This is a marketing scam, they give you cheap soap and make you pay $25 and for what? A brand name? Buy Globe Miconazole and Amazon Basics Selenium Sulifide shampoo and you have 10x more effective regimen for tinea versicolor than garbage lying terrasil. I spent $50 on lies and scams. Save money, get better medication, treat your skin condition, Jesus love you
