The scent smells nice like a lite lemon tobacco kinda thing and then it goes away very quickly and doesn't become toxic and overwhelming.The hold on the product is amazing . It might be the best hold i have ever experienced from a hair paste.I have straight hair and sometimes the way i style my hair doesnt last the whole day but this really does.you are going to look good all day. Its a solid paste its somewhat pliable but not the best depending on how wet u want to leave your hair before applying product to it . I use this product with and another product KSM hair play which is very pliable and it works great togeter. Also i prefer natural matte look and i know the says theres shine too it . i think it looks matte but then again i blow dry my hair to a certain point. I figure it will be more shine the wetter the hair is. Anyway its a pricey product but it is worth the money. I will buy another one but also i will continue to use other products just to see what else is out there so i dont miss anything .

The product is firm but spreads easily, is light, but has good hold. I began using it when my stylist used it on my hair and then the salon quit carrying it. I’m glad I can find it in Amazon. I have short hair and only need a pea - sized dab while hair is still damp. This package lasts several weeks

My husband loves this hair paste and usually it's the best deal to buy it on Amazon. It lasts him most of the year (6-7 months) and sometimes longer.

This is their high hold product and while it feels good in application--smooth and glossy, almost disappearing as applied--the hold only works when hair is relatively short 1-2"; longer than that and my fine, straight hair just needs more hold. The product also dries out and loses hold over the course of the day--not a big problem for the short hair, but for spikes and texture 2" or more it just can't hold up.

Good paste for short hair only

This product came hard and dried up. In the photo you can see how it is so dried it has pulled away from the edges of the container. The top is smeared because I did try to "use" it, but that was impossible because it is so hard. I have gotten this product many times before and initially, it is a soft putty-type product. It will eventually dry up after months of use....but this is really bad receiving it already in this condition. Returned it.
