Frametory 2 Pack 5x7 Aluminum Frame with Mat for 4x6 Photo, Gold

My daughter gave me two prints for Christmas, and I love her and the prints. They are an odd size, so framing was my only option…or was it? These picture frames look so great that I won’t be. I also have a pretty collage of the gold frames in my dining room. I absolutely love them.

I ordered 4 of the 11x14, plus some black mats for 8x10 photos. The black mat and the gold frame with the black and white photos I chose really looks amazing. The quality and sturdiness of these frames are impressive, especially for the price. I really like the mechanisms used to keep the photo backing in place. I plan on using the Command picture hangers, so I'm not worried about the hooks they have for hanging, but that could be an issue for some if you plan on using the old fashioned hammer and nail route (I suggest looking in to command products for all your hanging needs, seriously - I am related to their brand in any way and make no money from them). The packing of these frames was immaculate. They all had significant plastic bumpers on each corner, with plastic wrap around them, then were packed in a box that they fit into perfectly. If there's an issue with one of your frames, I am confident that it's a random issue and not one indicative of the general quality of the product. I just ordered 4 more of these of different sizes for additional photos (easily another $80 or so) and I am not remotely worried about the product. The color of the gold is a really beautiful matte gold. They are exactly what I wanted and what I thought I was buying when I made the purchase. I will update this if I have any issues with the additional frames that I purchased. I know buying frames online can be nerve-racking, because they are often way cheaper feeling/looking than they seem in photos. That is absolutely not the case here. I feel like I got a bargain.

I get so many compliments on these when people walk into my house. I don't even have my photos in them yet and people still tell me it doesn't matter, that they just look great up there. I struggle finding the right pieces on my walls but this was a huge hit!

I get things framed fairly frequently and it is SO expensive. I decided to just get off the shelf frames for some cheaper prints I got off ETSY. Unlike frames I've purchased in the past these have a very professional finish to them and don't look cheap in any way. Very easy to get the prints in the frames but not 'slap-dash' easy as with the cheaper frames that I am familiar with that don't hold up over time. Love these. One feature that was asked to be rated is 'giftable' . Giving a standard frame would be an odd gift so I gave it a 3 star but if you combine it with a personal photo or a certificate of some kind I would jack that back up to a 5!

Very easy to put together and hang on the walls. Well built, thick, quality frames and mats. Look just as beautiful as the day we put them up 4 years later.

I gave this 4 stars because although beautiful and just as described and just what I wanted, the 16x20 size had a strange metal hanging hook on the back that just slides right off the screw I'm hanging it on. It was very odd, I've hung hundreds of artwork over the years and this was just annoying. I ended up jimmy rigging it with a rubber band around the claw thing and my screw, but I was mad it didn't come with any other way to hang it. I prefer to hang with Command Strips when possible to avoid putting holes in my walls, but the frame is too skinny for that. Other than the hanging aspect, I love this frame and it's just the exact look I was going for.

The brass finish on these is a nice, modern brushed look. They're lightweight but don't look cheap. I had no trouble hanging them with a hammer and nail. You simply bend the metal hanging piece outward at a 45 degree angle, and it catches the nail just fine. Very happy with these and will likely purchase again. The included mats are on the ivory side of white, FYI. My art came with bright white matting, so that didn't matter to me, but it might to others.

I ordered (3) 11x14 inch frames and (1) 12x16 and twice received the wrong size frame for the 12x16. I am still getting the situation resolved but the frames themselves are very nice. The gold is a lovely light color that goes well with all prints and images. They are sturdy and lightweight. Yes the glass does not come out but that does not bother me. :) Good frame for the price but the hanging attachment does seem like it needs to be bent outward quite a bit in order for it to hang properly so not sure yet on that. :)
