GCI Outdoor Wilderness Reclining Portable Backpack Chair

Seemed very nice, my recliner aspect messed up, but super nice outside of that

I'm 6' tall, 235 lbs. and fit perfectly in this chair. It's well made and feels sturdy when you apply weight to the arm rests to either get in or out of the chair. It's low but just the right amount somehow. Not hard to get in or out. I searched for hours trying to find the right one, and I'm truly glad I picked this chair. Tomorrow is our trip and look forward to using the reclining option all day. It even has a little pillow for your neck so your head doesn't have to touch the bar in back when you recline. Good stuff.

Really love this chair. I dont have to hike this chair much further than from the car to the camp, so the extra weight and bulk vs more lightweight collapsible rigs isn't a concern for me. What I was looking for was a more traditional flat seat vs the cocoon seating of a collapsible. For me, the flat seat is just more comfortable, and the arm rests more substantial. I add a small seat cushion to this, and its relatively homestyle comfy. I've had this chair for a couple years now and taken it on dozens of trips. It's been banged around and sat in by people all over the weight scale, and it's still working great. If you dont mind the little extra weight, and dont needed an especially compact chair, this well made little guy is a great way to go. Hope this helps!

It is slow to the ground, but very comfortable. High-quality the couch in the back essentially turns it into a backpack is that it does not feel super small and does not fit great in the trunk of my three row SUV

It's perfect! Sturdy! Easy to set up/ break down, quick! The pouch holds a lot of stuff! You can put a messenger bag etc.. right in there so you don't have to lug also! It's a really great chair!!! And it's confortable when you're carrying great design!

Gci wilderness chair. Awesome except would be nice if they offered another one with the same features but taller. Very low to the ground. After researching other chairs this by fair the best. Light. Recline. Pocket and cup holders. Head pillow. Very sturdy high quality. Tent material. My brother very happy with his gift!

It’s really comfortable and light so makes it easy to carry in hand but the back straps are a little weird and it’s not comfortable to carry on your back. Took it to the beach today and couldn’t get it to stay on my back without it opening so had to carry it in my hand.

I'm kind of a beach chair connoisseur and this past summer I was extremely well setup! When the strap of my Tommy Bahama backpack chair broke, I decided it was time to branch out and I purchased the Ostrich chair (if you haven't heard of this, do google it!). I liked this chair, but it is significantly wider than the Tommy Bahama one and I missed the backpack (although the Ostrich does have good smaller pouches). Consequently I decided I needed a more portable version of a beach chair as well. This one is GREAT (better than the Tommy Bahama one). It is slightly higher, love the dark colors and well made. You won't be unhappy with this purchase.

Excellent sturdy chairs. Arrived just as pictured and are going to make wonderful light chairs for the beach.
