i need a size 8 in womens or size 6 in mens. i just want low top black chucks, the sizing chart is confusing me?

I wear a women's size 6 but chucks tend to run a 1/2 size large so I wear a 5.5 womens which is a 3.5 Men's. If you take an 8 in Chucks then yes it would be a 6 in men's. hope this helps!
