Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil, Tanzania

I fell in love with these Eye Intensifier Pencils (really a creamy crayon) a couple of years ago and have tried different shades. I have green eyes and several of the colors really make my eyes shine and stand out beautifully (think about trying the violet shades as well if you have green or hazel eyes). But the Bangalore shade is my personal favorite. This makes morning makeup time extra simple and quick. Just this "pencil" (which never tugs at your delicate eyelids but glides on and sets quickly) and some mascara and you are definitely good-to-go for eye makeup. It's wonderfully long lasting and does not crease or run even during hot, humid summer weather. Make sure you have a large size sharpener (you can get them SO inexpensively at any drug store) so you can use every bit of this terrific product. I always make sure I have a "spare" on hand so I never run out. I've never tried any eye color like this. Brilliant as both liner and shadow!

i've been using a product by Susan Posnick. it's like a roll-oneye shadow liner. love it because it doesn't drag my aging eyelid.but the purple has had production issues, and finally i've moved on,and tried this product. I love it. deep plum color. goes on super easy,and stays there. no pulling at my eyelid. now i've got to figure out ifthey have a dk green.UPDATE: I've ordered this several times in 2 colors. Lately, as the pencil gets shorter,upon sharpening it, the crayon falls out. the wood around it is too loose. And it continuesto fall out over and over. I won't give up on it, cause i don't know of anything else like it.but what a pain.

Sue Devitt pencils have beautiful color and go on well because they are soft. But because of that softness, the point blunts very quickly requiring resharpening after a couple of applications. Also I found I had to purchase their $10 sharpener. A cheap drugstore sharpeners will chew up this pencil in no time, breaking off the point with only one turn, requiring another sharpening, etc, until there's nothing left of a $22 pencil. I keep using this brand, but if I found something that would go on as well, I wouldn't buy it any more.

Bought three colors: blue (Victoria Falls), brown (Kenya) and purple (Ava). Very easy to apply and smudge, although I like to use my finger rather than the tool provided on the other end. It seems to remove the product rather than smudge it. At $22 each they are a bit expensive, but I won't be buying any others for a long time. Would recommend. This is my first Sue Devitt product. I saw it in Soft Surroundings, but bought it through Amazon.

These Sue Devitt eye pencils have been my favorites for several years. I love the Kalahari (dark blue gray), Kenya (true dark brown) and Tanzania (a beautiful golden brown). They go on smoothly, last all day, and they sharpen easily when they become dull, so they last a long time (use right down to < 1 inch). They are getting hard to find, and I hope they're not being discontinued. In case, I've stocked up so I don't have to figure out a replacement as quickly if they disappear.

This pencil does exactly what it says it does. It intensifies your eye color. I love this product. The only thing is I wish the product was more bullet proof. It does stay on....but it is NOT bullet proof. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren;t for that!

Great pencil and can be used as eye shadow. It is up to you how dark and intensified your eye make up should be. If you re-apply it gets more dramatic, one coat and \sweep some for very natural eye make up. Easy for getting smoky eyes. No crease, stays all day, easy to remove. Couldn't ask more from an eye pencil. I own 6 different colors of them.

The colors are very nice as is the smudger on the end, however, these smear and don't last more than a few hours if that. One of the colors I got was so waxy, it wouldn't even go on over my eyeshadow-it just sort of skipped around-very messy. $22 each is pricey for something that doesn't last. I've found similar pencils that last all day/night for half the price.Also be advised AGAINST ordering thru Dermastore. They are very particular with returns/refunds. Read their policy very carefully before ordering. It's not worth the hassle of returning and getting hit with a 20% restock fee on something if you are over 15 days. I would not order from this site again, they are difficult to deal with.
