the package use to be labeled organic stevia powder but now it reads stevia powder. but ingredients claims organic.  which is it?

Just looked at the 2 pouches I purchased in April 2021 & December 2020. Neither of my previous purchases indicated 'organic' on the label. Thank you for brining this to my attention. I will have to look for another product.

Since this is 300 sweeter than sugar, would 4 oz substitute 75 pounds of sugar.

Stevia cannot replace sugar across-the-board for every single application that calls for sugar. However, I’ve used Stevia for a good 10 years now and this is very good Stevia. As an illustration I used to put 2 tablespoons of sugar in my large cup coffee ( yes I am aware that is ridiculous, but it is what it is ) I  use one 16th of a teaspoon of Stevia in the same cup of  coffee, So I can sweeten 96 cups of coffee for the same measurement as sweetening one cup of sugar. I don’t know the teaspoons per ounce ratio of this Stevia, but if you only use it only for beverages, yes it will replace 75lbs of sugar!

Yes I have, in baking oatmeal cookies using this 4oz Stevia powder in a mixture with 4 lbs. of  Erythritol Granules (comes in 5 a lbs bag)  Natural Sweetener.  Then I use this "mixture" of 4 tablespoons  as a substitute for 1 cup of sugar.  This final ratio was a trial and error result, so you may want to "tweak" this ratio to your personal liking.  This "mixture" satisfies bulk, texture, and avoids minuscule amounts of this pure Stevia Powder.  Amazon sells plenty of different manufactures of Erythitol Sweetener, too.
