Favorite film ever for a really good price, the warm tones are amazing, good exposure and quality of the photos and the lighting is always so perfect

Kodak film continues to be one of my favorite choices for both casual photography and more intentional shoots. The colors are vibrant without looking overly saturated, and it produces that classic film look that is difficult to replicate digitally. The film loaded easily into my camera and advanced smoothly throughout the roll. Once developed, the images had excellent color reproduction, pleasing contrast, and a nice balance between sharpness and grain. Skin tones looked natural, and outdoor photos especially had that warm Kodak character many photographers love. I also found the exposure latitude to be forgiving, which makes this a great option for beginners while still delivering results experienced film shooters can appreciate. Kodak Ultramax 400 is a solid choice for general photography and performs well in a wide range of lighting conditions. The ISO 400 speed makes it versatile for both indoor and outdoor shots, and the colors come out vibrant without looking overly saturated. Skin tones look natural, and there’s a nice balance between contrast and detail. I also like that the grain is noticeable but pleasing, giving photos that classic film look without feeling too rough. The 36-exposure rolls are convenient, and the three-pack is a good value for regular shooting. It’s a dependable film that’s easy to work with and consistently delivers good results.

Good color Film, worked perfect for my Canon film camera.

This was my first time using a film camera. My best advice is: for important moments, use another photography option as well. The last photo from my review photos are a FEW of the examples of moments of my sons NICU stay/coming home I wanted for his baby book that I lost due to light fog. I can’t get those back on actual film, ever. Luckily there’s phones now, but that ENTIRE roll was light fogged :( which sucks! You never know until it’s time to develop. Onto the pros: you can look at the photos and see, this film gives a genuine “throwback” aesthetic. Getting lighting and flash right will take some getting used to for me personally, but I actually really like the grainy underlit quality from film shots. Like all film, it’s ridiculously expensive nowadays, but worth it if you want to use it. What other option do you have, after all? I’m on my last roll currently so I’m ordering more after I write this. Short version: like with all film, it’s a risk when it’s time to develop. If you take care the best you can, you’ll get awesome results. Def recommend.
