Matchaful - Hikari - Single Origin Ceremonial Matcha - 30g Tin

I'm new making matcha at home and have to say I'm hooked on this one! It is delicious - not bitter in the slightest - and so smooth. I've used it on its own with water and in a latte and each version is great. I love how easily it mixes (no clumping) and the packing is convenient and clean. Drinking this every morning makes me feel energized, focused and so healthy. I used to drink coffee several times a day and can honestly say I'll never go back. TIP: Make sure you also have a bamboo whisk and sifter to really make sure you're getting the full experience! I used my blender bottle as a cheat for the first few days until I received the "tools" and they definitely make a difference :)

Delicious matcha I’m a matcha snob and this is the real deal! Gorgeous bright green color, taste is amazing, a little goes a long way which is a sign of a good quality matcha! Mixes beautifully too, also a big plus.

High quality and good value for the amount.

I know the older the tea is the less nutrients are available, so when I opened my tin, it was certainly not the bright green that they advertise in their pictures and the smell did not smell fresh but smelled musty. I was under the impression that this was a premium brand and my expectations were that for this price it would be one of the best. So far pretty dissapointed, doesnt look, smell or taste good. I sent the company an email but have not heard back yet. If they don’t replace it I’m going to move in to another company.

I would encourage everyone to try this Matcha. I would give it 5 stars, but I am taking a star away for the specific batch I purchased on Amazon. The Hikari is truly delicious, however, the quality and freshness was superior when ordered directly from Matchaful. The color was more vibrant.

I couldn't be happier with this product. I was on the hunt for a quality matcha that didn't have any of the bitterness I've experienced with other products and the Hikari definitely delivered. It’s really smooth without an aftertaste with just hot water or over ice. A friend recommended this brand and after reading more about the company and how the matcha is grown under solar panels I'm hooked. Worth every penny.
