Elegant but fragile stemware
We were first introduced to these glasses on a wine tour in Oregon. All the wineries use them. They are perfect for New World Pinots, enhancing the bouquet and taste of the wine. However, the stems are very thin and fragile. Use extra care while washing and drying. Also, the price fluctuation is crazy on these glasses. I’ve seen them as low as $49 and as high as $75 on Amazon since September.

There are only 2 glasses.
The glasses are just what I wanted. They are not too thin and are the correct size. I did think there were 4 but I looked back and it said 2 but showed 4. This should be clearer

Best Pinot Noir glasses, hands down
These are my favorite wine glasses. They have a beautiful shape, lightweight, good feel. I’m funny about my wine glasses and super picky. These are top notch. My other ones got broken after a few years and I had to replace them, I love them that much. Worth the money.

Elegant/Sturdy if Careful
Elegant and light. Perfect for most reds (get a bigger bowl for pinot noir, gamay, etc.). This is neither fragile nor study glass. Best to avoid the dish washer. Hand wash NOT by holding the stem. Hold by the bowl when hand washing. I own a dozen various Riedel Veritas wine glasses (which are a bit more elegant and thinner than their Vinum line). Stick to hand washing and, like me, you will never have a broken Veritas glass.

Stunning stems
Stunning crystal stems. We serve the Pinot Noir varietal frequently. I have tried a lot of Pinot Noir stems and these are definitely my favorite. They are like a feather in the hand, and seem to be great with either Chardonnay or New World Pinot Noir. Have not tried them yet with Nebbiolo. I have a dozen of these and have only hand-washed them so far. They are so thin, that I have been extra careful in handling and no breakage yet.

Gorgeous
Yes, they're pricey, but worth every penny. Well designed, great quality and truly enhance your favorite Pinots. Just don't let them sit upside down on a towel, kitchen cloth or a paper towel after washing. They will capture the odor of the towel which will linger for a while, that's how good that are. Now, imagine what they'd do to a good wine...

Beautiful and delicate
These pinot noir glasses are attractive, very thin glass and light in weight as a result. The shape allows swirling without spilling and delivers aromas beautifully. This is a step up in elegance from any wine glasses we have had in the past and the cost is about as much per stem as I'm comfortable paying. After about 6 months of using a set of 4 of these, we broke one of them and then bought another pair from Amazon, so we now have 5. This was our mistake as someone held the base while trying to clean the bowl - the classic way to break fine glassware by putting a twisting force on the stem. So while these are not overly fragile, breakage is to be expected with very fine stemware. Best advice I have seen is - don't buy any fine glassware if you aren't comfortable with the idea that you're likely to break 1 or 2 glasses per year.

Rather special wine glasses
Fine looking glasses with very delicate rim. Perfect for Pinot varietals.
