Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Stress Urinary Care Dry Cat Food

This food helped my pets. One of our cats is prone to bladder stones. We had her on a prescription food and recently switched to this. Everything is going good. It also makes the cats fur very soft.

My cat Daphne needs this because of her urinary crystals and anxiety. This product makes her not pee on anything. And the stress relief ingredients helped her gain confidence and boldness to explore more and have a richer more fulfilling life. Amazon makes it so convenient with their fast delivery so if I run out they quickly replace it when I order. The Hill's company has such high quality ingredients she also does not get urinary crystals when I have to buy other urinary cat foods from them instead of this specific version. My other cat Onyx also enjoys this food with no ill effects even though he does not have the same specific issues.

I bought this because my young male cat had 2 urinary blocks at the beginning of this year. It was traumatic for both of us, mostly him! But, this food has made a big difference in his quality of life since those incidents. He seems to enjoy the taste of it too - he begs me for it daily! He eats it when he does not have his wet cat food available, usually at night. Even though the price is high for this product, it does work the way it says it does on the side of the bag. It has given me peace of mind during a stressful time for my pet cat that I love, so it is worth the price to me. It is recommended to only feed your cat 1/4 of a cup of this dry food up to 2 times per day (I feed mine morning/night as needed). I would recommend this product for anyone that has a cat with urinary block issues or re-occurring UTI's. Re-occurring UTI's is what initially brought my cat into the vet clinic - with this food, my cat was able to overcome those and hydrates more often.

Kidney care is most important in cats so I spend the money for extra kidney care food. My cats love it.

My cat loves this stuff- hooray! Less hooray for my wallet. Ah well. Bought it after my cat had to go to the vet for urinary crystals, and they recommended this product (note: avoid Costco Maintenance cat food as several others I know have had their cats develop urinary crystals when eating it!!). My cat was never super food motivated... until he began eating this. Guessing it just really tastes much better than his old stuff. And combined with the cost per bag, it tends to add up, but he's never encountered crystals again since we stitched so I guess it's working!

Highly recommended by my vet and sure enough, my cat no longer pees everywhere. Though it is $10 a pound and that is pricey, it has been worth it for the health of my cat.
