SlingShirt - The Magnetic Shoulder Surgery Shirt Designed for People Wearing a Sling

It fit my husband perfectly, and after his shoulder ligaments and rotation cuff surgery he couldn’t move his arm , and the tee shirt did the job. Only the snaps come apart every so often, maybe because the snaps are magnetic.

My wife had rotator cuff and needed shirts easy to get on an off. I found this online and she loved it. When you have that pillow hanging in front after the surgery, it is hard to put on anything. I modified some tank tops, but this was far better. It is not cheap, but definitely did the job.

I like the look and feel of the shirt, but there are too big of a gap between magnetic closures.

This shirt was a necessity after my husband's rotator cuff surgery. He had physical therapy twice a week for more than 12 weeks. During his sessions, it was easy for him to expose his shoulder without taking off his entire shirt. This was especially important as it was winter and cold in the facility. The magnets worked great. I should have ordered a size up. He normally wears an XL, but a larger now would have been a bit easier, although the XL was acceptable. Get it before your surgery!

Really great idea, great shirt. Trying to put on any top, even button up tops, over a newly fractured shoulder was very painful. This shirt was a real lifesaver. Suggest you buy the shirt big enough so the magnets will stay together properly while moving around. We had a medium for a 5'9 108# female which worked fine. This may be a rare occurrence, but one time we washed the shirt in our top loading machine, the magnets caused the shirt to get stuck under the agitator.

Great Idea, great name, nicely advertised and quality manufactured. That is where the good points end The one I received is either mis-marked for the size or these run REALLY, Really small. I normally wear an XXL knit shirt and I ordered the XXXL. I doubt what arrived would be classified by normal person as XL it was probably closer to a Large. To add a little insult to injury, the seller will deduct the cost or return shipping from my refund Well getting some of my money back is still better then getting none of my money back. I need to pay more attention and just by PRIME products from now on BTW, there is a similar product with a Velcro closure that runs nice and large and has plenty of room for your recently reconstructed shoulder,. Best part is the cost is about $10 cheaper than this undersized SlingShirt

Purchased several of these shirts for my partner who had shoulder surgery in winter. We found the general fit to be ok, but bizarrely there are only closures on the top of the shoulder, nothing to close the sleeve around the arm on the underside, so it was wide open and my partner found it cold/drafty and uncomfortable to the degree that after wearing it once he preferred to go though the physical pain of putting a regular t shirt on instead. He also found that the magnetic closures on the side would open as he moved, if his orthopedic sling put any pressure on the shirt (which of course it is going to). So while we thought this would be an improvement over the adaptive shirts with snaps, it really wasn't. Regretfully, I missed the return window for these while being busy and distracted by caretaking, so this was just an expensive mistake - but here's my review so you don't have to learn the same way.

Great product made with excellent material! The nurses were thrilled how easy it was to use this shirt when I came out of surgery. The "how to" video on the website is a huge help! WATCH THE VIDEO!! Line up the magnets from the collar down and getting dressed is a breeze! Gentle wash, tumble dry; no problems 3 weeks into recovery! getting 2 more!
