I do believe it is not an isolate, by far my favorite protein powder on the market.

is this product good for a hunger suppresant?

I'm not sure since I don't use it for that. It takes the place of a meal but I'm hungrier than usual for the next meal. I've had two doctors recommend it to me. I love the taste.
