COCONIX Leather & Vinyl Repair Kit for Furniture, Car Seats, Sofas & Marine

I found this kit to be very easy to use with quite good results. The filler paste is surprisingly easy to apply and the simple tool(s) included made application very smooth. I believe the manufacturer has developed a great product and process which works well for the average consumer. The color match out of the tube was very close. I repaired a very rough sofa arm which had a couple areas worn through. The patch is almost indistinguishable from the original leather and holding up well after several weeks. One tip, if mixing a color you might do a sample and let it dry for more precise color match. Overall, I think this is an amazing (and simple) product that exceeds my expectations.

After my Amazon research for a leather repair kit I landed on this one. I am very happy with the results and while I notice you can tell a slight difference close up, you do not notice the repair as a whole. I have given in 4 stars (wish I could do 4.5) because compared to what my sofa looked like before the difference is huge and well worth it. However, there are a few things I would like to see different, and this goes for all leather repair kits. I really wish there was some type of colormatch app to help you match your color easier. While this one includes a chart it just tells you the two colors to use to try to match your color. I ended up using 4 different colors to get the closest match I could. I wish that there was an option for a "bigger repair" type kit. What I mean by that is as you can see I had large areas to cover. You are given a tiny tiny brush and a very small plastic spatcula. I needed up using the spatcula but using some paper towel (sponge would have been better) to help blend the color into the large areas. I would like to see a larger container for mixing. Once you have the right color if you have to make more it is almost impossible to make the same color as the first attempt was just trial and error adding in colors. I would also like to see a much larger type applicator maybe a sponge of some sort to be able to blend over large areas. It would be nice if there was the ability to add something to the coloring to make it a little more creamy (like a balm) that you could rub over a large area to fill in small cracks. Kind of a two in one type kit for specific areas and large areas. Despite "wishing" for these features the kit really helped hide the terrible wear and scratches from my dog, a much cheaper option then getting a new sofa. I do want to note that while using the repair color I did also use a little bit of leather conditioner to try to fill in the small cracks on my own. The shine on my sofa is due to the conditioner and not this leater repair kit. Pros: **Does it's job if you can get the right color **Several colors included to help match the color Cons: **Small container hard for big jobs **Not always easy to get the color you need, the color chart is a start but definitely not the answer Overall I would purchase this again if/when I run into this same issue as unfortunately my dog will eventually scratch the sofa and wear will begin to show.

it was not so easy to get a good color mix to match my basic gray, and the vinyl was very hard to work in. The original vinyl started peeling and I tried very hard to work the coconix onto the sort of bald spots.

This product works as advertised. It has great documentation to help you get started and an even more amazing customer support. They were able to guide me on my repair journey and followed up to make sure I was happy with the results. It was very easy and just a little bit of patience to get the color just right, then just apply the product and let it dry, it might take a lot of reapplications to fill everything and make it look seamless, but it is worth it. The container helps keeping the color mixture fresh between applications so you don't have to remix color. It comes with a wide variety of colors to match your color, I sent support a photo of my leather and replied with the primary and secondary color and they were right on spot. Product is easy to clean, just a little bit of rubbing alcohol and it goes away, so don't be afraid to use it. It has almost no chemical smell and after 4 layers I can say the durability check passes when the kids ran over it and played with the fix remaining in place. Amazing product and I promise you support will grab your hand through the whole process until you are completely satisfied.

I don't know how it works, but it does. I have used this in the past to repair a custom-made black leather car seat and it looked flawless. Recently, I used it to patch a hole in my Cognac brown colored couch. Matching the color can be tricky as it obviously will look a bit different wet than when dried, but overall, I have found the colors blend pretty well. Once dried, it holds up well to wear and tear.

Lo he comprado pensando que no iba a funcionar, pero se ha quedado como nevo. Mi chaqueta es de color burdeos y el color que viene con el producto es idéntico. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda

Das Produkt ist nicht gerade billig. Aber wenn man bedenkt wieviel eine neue Ledercouch kostet, dann lohnt es sich schon. Das Reparaturset hat keine deutschsprachige Anleitung. Mich hat das nicht gestört. Ich finde den Gebrauch selbsterklärend. Nur die Farbe habe ich nicht zu 100% getroffen. Auch nicht nach vielen Versuchen. Es ist nicht einfach genau den Farbton zu treffen, obwohl die Packung genug Farben zum mischen enthält. Aber das hat mit dem Produkt nichts zu tun. Also: 1. Gut zu verarbeiten 2. Ergebnis der Reparatur ist in sehr gut. 3. Es klebt sehr gut und zuverlässig und ist sehr ergiebig. Ich kann das Reparaturset auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
