I think they match the viscosity if the oil to its use in a chain saw. No weight is indicated on the packaging.

My pole saw has a little reservoir to add oil too. I guess it's a self oiler? So would this oil work? My neighbor just said just get chain oil...

Yes, it is a self oiler. I've bought this oil to put in the reservoir. Bar and chain oil is what they recommend. I thought I was buying the gallon size for only $11.49, but was sent the qt for $6.68. Just make sure you double check what size you want. Good luck!
