I just love it! Quality item. Excellent retro look.

I love owls, and subsequently, my home reflects an assortment of owl ornaments ranging from wind chimes to lifelike resin statues. I purchased this more for form over function, but it actually is functional for holding a box of girl scout cookies. It is not a large cumbersome piece; if it were a set of four (flour, sugar, coffee, and tea), this would probably be the coffee jar. I am providing a picture alongside a 12oz can of soda for scale.The vendor that packaged and shipped this to me did an excellent job of multiple wrappings of bubble plastic on all six sides and securing it tightly into a heavy-duty shipping box. Use caution when opening the product box as the jar's lid is not secured to the body. Mine spilled out onto the kitchen counter when I extracted the jar from the box. I am fairly confident it would have shattered if it landed on the floor. I fault the manufacture for this oversight, which is why I rated the packaging with three stars.Overall, it is an attractive piece, and I am happy with the purchase.

This owl is cute and retro looking. When it arrived, there was some gold paint missing from one of the eyes and a bit missing in a couple of other places, fixable. My main dislike is that with the plastic seal around the top of the lid does not fit the owl. With the seal off, the lid fits much better although that will cause future chipping. I will keep the seal off the lid and use for a decorative piece only.

Very cute, but was packaged poorly for the product, so came with cracks and chips, but they are replacing. Coloring more of an off white color than expected, paint job has flaws, appears wider in picture, so pay close attention to measurements if that matters. A bit disappointed that the price tag they paid for was left on for $14.99 at World Market and we pay over $40.

I love this owl jar!! It was a Christmas gift to myself. I use it for my K-pods and it works perfectly for that. Very cool piece. One thing though, make sure you inspect well...just noticed that there is a crack on the back, all the way from the base of the lid, down to the feathers. It still works for what I want to use it for, and I will probably get another if it does end up needing to be replaced. But it probably happened in shipping and I should have inspected better.

I love this owl cookie jar and looks great in my kitchen. Neutral color and so cute. I am very glad I purchased this. I wasn’t disappointed.
