Seat didn't last
Worked great for 6 months and then a chunk fell out of the what was suppossed to be a brass seat and the water trough valve ran open for days. Don't know if this is a brass knock off or if my water is high in TDS and this valve just doesn't hold up to my water quality. Will try a PVC valve next. I thought this was a long term solution.

Matches description. I’m using it to fill a 500gal poly tank off a garden hose.

Float valve
I use this in my backyard pond for an auto fill system. I have used several other brands before; this one is the best so far. Shuts off completely when full... others just continued to drip and leak. Good product.

Valve never closes.
Simply won't seal. When the float presses the valve closed, it just chatters but the water flow never stops. I tried reducing the water pressure but no matter how low the pressure, it will not stop the water flow. I don't seem to have an option to return this. Has the appearance of a high quality item but that doesn't matter if it doesn't work.

Good valve
Got the job done. The old one had a pit in the seat so wouldn't seal. It was more than 8 years old, maybe a lot more.
