My old light doesn't have alto on it. does that make a difference?

No. It’s an effort to look pro climate.

Do you carry any other in shorter lengths?

There are many lamps that are shorter than an F20T12. You need to narrow the length down some.

How do i change this? My bulb wont fasten in or turn to lock in. Never seen this before

It helps to have patience. When you get the light to turn, also add a light pull down so the knob guides into the slot, and out of the holder. Try to work on getting just one end out, then remove the entire bulb.
