First time using this type, really like it
Total guitar refretting, they are slightly brittle which is good for cutting, which larger clippers worked just fine, notch it and grab one end and just snap it off. It isn't soft so it takes a little more to file, but really, not at all hard to do, and it tends to not clog the files very fast which are even easier to clean out between the teeth with a soft brush. So leveling was easy as can be, then crowning was just fine, used a couple nice files for the ends that won't file away the finish, and then used a set of like five fret erasures up to 2000 grit and they shine like crazy, super nice mellow yellowish gold color that really tough, I expect these to last forever, I have no doubt other things will need to be replaced long before these frets do.

But if you wanted them for you guitar project they would be great.
These are very solid, I was not aware of that. I wish I had purchased straight ones instead for a non-guitar project. I had no idea these were as strong as they are, trying to get them flat again is a chore. But if you wanted them for you guitar project they would be great.

Great gold wire
My 2nd time buying this evo wire. It’s great fret wire. Almost as hard as stainless steel, and is hypo allergenic. I bought it because I wanted gold wire, and yes, it’s gold all the way through. Jescar makes the best fret wire out there.

Great fret wire
I chose the jumbo one for the reason that when it gets dented it can be roundedmany a time without haven't to change the fret wire. It's just a tiny bit softer than the stainless steel one. When I finish rounding the fret wire and after usingthe required sand paper to finsh it up, I use brillo pads but before use I get rid of the soap by squeezing it out in water. You will get a great shine.Try it. It wont hurt none. After all that, it allows the bending of the string extremely easy.

Best gold fretwire ever
This fretwire is hard, uniform, and is completely golden. It won't show silver or white metal spots when dentedor worn out. The alloy is very hard, so it is more common to see the strings being notched by the frets than theother way around. These frets are excellent for refretting, as they seat firmly and snugly even in swollen slots, and by being harder, they polish slower and sustain longer. Excellent choice for golden frets, and they comein sizes, too.

good gold fretwire
Good solid fretwire ... very hard and a little tough to work with, but that comes with the territory. Company a pleasure to deal with.
