Flaky crust has dark meat if you don’t like that, but it didn’t make a difference to me
I was hesitant to buy food from Amazon. The order arrived when it said it would . I was concerned because it was a food item. Delicious with a D ! This reminds me of the old days when Swanson made chicken pot pies . I don’t know if they got bought out by banquet? The packing chain of the product looks kind of dull It doesn’t do it justice. The chicken is tender. It is dark meat, but you wouldn’t know the difference unless you don’t like dark meat typically I don’t, but it didn’t bother me. The press is very flaky lots of vegetables for the price and the product you can’t eat it I highly recommend it a cheap meal for us. Those who can’t get out to the grocery store too.

A taste that took me down memory lane.
This is a tiny chicken pot pie. I was a bit surprised when I got it from Amazon. But I will brag on Amazon putting it in an insulated bag with two frozen bottles of water and the pie was still frozen solid when I received it. I ate it for lunch one day when I needed to eat something but wasn't really hungry and it was perfect that day! But it is not a pot pie for a hungry person! It had been a lot time since I had had a Banquet pot pie, and I was very pleased! The taste was yummy and the ingredients were simple but yummy. The pie ingredients were chicken, peas, carrots and flavoring along with a gravy and good crust which crisped up in the over. Made the texture good. I would cook it in the oven instead of the microwave if you have a little bit longer. It's much better that way--cooking performance wise. It was a trip down memory lane as i remembered the taste from my childhood. Enjoy!

Would Purchase again
I made these as a quick and easy dinner. We enjoyed them. They didn't get as crispy on top as I would have liked and the bottoms stuck to the included pie pan but I would purchase again.

Five Stars: The Finest Dollar’s Worth of Questionable Decisions Money Can Buy
Banquet Chicken Pot Pie is what happens when a food scientist, an accountant, and a wizard lock themselves in a room and agree that lunch should cost exactly one dollar The box boasts a “made from scratch flaky crust.” That’s impressive. I didn’t realize scratch was available in industrial quantities. Whatever the source, the crust emerges from the oven golden, flaky, and far better than it has any right to be The filling contains chicken, vegetables, gravy, and a collection of ingredients that sound less like food and more like rejected names for Transformers villains. I tried reading the label aloud and accidentally opened a portal to a dimension where everything is beige. Nutritionally, it’s somewhere between comfort food and a science experiment. Spiritually, however, it’s a triumph. After 30 minutes in the oven, this frozen hockey puck of pseudo-food becomes a steaming monument to low expectations exceeded. Is it gourmet? Absolutely not. Is it healthy? Let’s not ruin the moment with difficult questions. For one dollar, I expected regret. Instead, I got a hot meal, a flaky crust, and enough leftover money to continue making poor financial decisions. Would I buy it again? My freezer is already full of them. FWIW, the beef pot pie is much better, but Amazon does not offer that option.

Classic processed, salty foodstuffs
Classic cheap pot pie. Grey meat fatty chicken, some vegetables that will take you back to school lunch and an ok crust. Chuck it in the microwave and in 3 minutes you're questioning how your life got you to this point. Tastes ok and probably a bit better than you might expect at it's typical price; call it a mediocre value. Good for kids to make on their own. Amazon suggests I talk about it's sturdiness. If you're wondering this, keep in mind you're supposed to eat it. It will not support a table after heating.
