Perfect size for my small chess board!
Don't let the low rating reviews saying they're "too small" or "smaller than standard chess pieces" put you off. The whole point is that it's small, people just need to read the description and look at the images before buying... Literally shows in the photos the sizes of each piece.Anyway, I have a small mirrored chess board with little drawers built in to store the pieces in, but I had no pieces. These are the perfect size to fit on the board and inside the drawers so now I have a nice little chess set. Looks like they were made for this board even.Quality is fine, they are just plastic with no felt on the bases. Not really an issue at the price point but I'm tempted to add some felt myself. Moulding is fine and there's no odd bits of excess plastic or anything. Nice colour too, slightly off white rather than pure white.For the price I paid (Black Friday) perfect value for money, can't fault them.Just check the size before you buy them and don’t leave a bad review!

If you're good you don't always have to play chess with people
They class these pieces as budget chess pieces but I find the more like the chess pieces I used to use when I was learning how to play chess as a child... they are the type of chess pieces that never die..... the type of chess pieces that get eaten by a dog and suddenly end up with a spawn of pawns reproducing themselves brown but now brown.... the type of chess pieces that are indestructible.... very rare that I buy new chess pieces.... but found a interesting three-dimensional set and these were perfect for it. Lightweight and good quality would recommend to other players

The chess set is a miniature version of a standard set
it is not clear on the pictures or in the wording that this set is a miniature version of a standard size set. I returned the item as it was not what I wanted. I suggest that the description makes it clear by adding dimensions or stating these pieces are smaller than the standard size.

Cheaply made but otherwise fine
The pieces are made from fairly cheap feeling plastic, but other than that I have no problems with this product. If you want a cheap set of chess pieces, I'd recommend this.
