Just what I needed
Works for my network and balance the phases so I have equal signal distribution

Doesn't work in condo, probably works fine for house.
Disclaimer-I returned this because I couldn't get this to work. When I purchased, there wasn't much documented about this not working in condo buildings. Even though I placed this within 8 feet of a breaker, I couldn't get it to work. Finally, after speaking with support, it was determined that this doesn't work in condos.

Good high-frequency signal coupler
It appears to work as advertised. I installed it in side the main building distribution panel initially, but moved it to a box immediately outside thereof, so I could see the indicator lights.

X10
I purchased this product to solve some problems with my X10 modules. I cannot control everything from one spot in the house because the two phases do not couple well enough. I thought I could solve the problem with this product but I still have the same issues. For me, this product did not work.

Top support and great advice from Simply Automated
I was having trouble getting the Simply Automated stuff to talk between the far ends of my house. The ZPCI-W Phase Coupler did the trick. I monkeyed around with it for a couple days before calling the support number at Simply Automated. The guy who answered the phone told me to try this and it fixed my problem as soon as I was done configuring it. Easy peasy. Simply Automated UPB is definitely the way to go. Well worth the money.

great support, fair price
I use Simply Automated for my installs. Simply Automated uses powerful Universal Powerline Technology (UPB), products not compatible with cheap X-10 that doesn't work most of the time. X-10 is very low cost stuff. If this guy wants step up from X-10 he should buy X-10 compatible products, alternative is SmartHome Insteon (cheap low cost, low quality) X-10 + RF. If you want high quality, technology that works, great support, fair price, then Simply Automated is your choice. Highly recommend.
