d-c-fix 346-0001 Decorative Self-Adhesive Film, Matte White, 17" x 78" Roll

I swear by the white matte. I’ve bought at least 50 rolls over the years and it’s the easiest to apply and the best color compared to white paint. Funny story, I first bought it at Menards 5 years ago. I was allowed to paint my cabinets so I abandoned the whole contact paper idea. I just moved last month and I want a white kitchen. Cant paint here. I couldn’t remember the name of the brand but I did find one tiny piece that didn’t get thrown out. I searched everywhere, bought everything, none were it. Then I found the red grid lines on the back of it and almost cried I was so happy. I’m in real estate so staging is necessary and I love projects at my own home. This is THE BEST CONTACT PAPER FOR CABINETS. It blows EVERY SINGLE COMPETITOR OUT OF THE WATER. A lot of people don’t realize something is purple til they compare it to what it should be. 2 suggestions: DO 2-3 layers to make it that softer white and DO NOT use a hairdryer unless you’re tightening around the edges. Bubbles galore otherwise.

This film was easy to use to cover several items including dorm room furniture like a desk that was an 80s orangey wood color. My advice is to have a brand new razor blade and wallpaper smoother handy to smooth & trim as you go for a perfect fit.

I got this film to conceal the scratched up top of a chest freezer. I know for a fact it won’t be durable and if something hits it, it most likely will snag some, but at least it doesn’t look like it did before. Anything is better than that. It was impossible to apply without a trick I learned from applying window tint. In a spray bottle I mix a few drops of dish liquid with a good amount of water and spray it on the surface, it makes the film movable until you get it lined up, then you can squeegee the water out and the film is perfectly applied. Without that trick, I couldn’t get it down without trying to pull it back up so many times that the material stretched and wrinkled no matter what. I bought a wallpaper tool kit on Amazon and used the felt edge scraper and it was a dream to apply. Hope this helps, because it sure helped me.

I was a little worried after reading some negative reviews, but the result turned out perfect. Use hairdryer to make the edge sit flush with the surface and squeezy to get rid of the air bubble without damaging the sheet.

Material not what I expected, too thin and I would like to return it! Disappointed in the quality and how not aesthetically pleasing on cabinets with grooves/design. I only used one roll. What a waste...

I'm in love with this peel and stick! After updating my very old countertops with the white marble design, my off-white cabinet doors were looking pretty sad and desperately needed an update. This product was super easy to apply and made a WORLD of didfence! Could not recommend it enough!

Cuts well, sticks well (have used on metal tins) and receives magic marker with no problem. You have to be careful when applying it, to avoid air bubbles (just smooth a little as you go, and apply a couple of centimetres at a time). I was very happy with the quality and price. I have had no issues with creases. Using this vinyl wrap I was able to make the side of a lidded tin look like the pages of a book - I used a leatherette version for the front and spine of the 'book'. Overall the transformation was pretty good - obviously it doesn't look like a real book, but certainly gives that impression.
