Dog Lead - Rope Style
Nice 'Racing' Green rope style dog lead.Soft, looks nice, no plastic bits in sight, doubles as a very useful hand warmer if you wrap the excess around your fingers !It's a slip-lead but I sometimes undo the slip (very easily done) and use a carabiner on the ring to attach to the collar.Long enough to let the hound sniff around, but not as long as those horrid extendable plastic numbers that people use in the municipal park.Good quality, well-made item, and if you like traditional stuff you will like this.If you like nasty, bright-coloured plastic and garish patterns this ain't for you.Still using this 3 years down the line. The colour is a nice subdued country green not the lime colour on the page.

Nice lead, to be honest we don't use it ...
Nice lead, to be honest we don't use it much as we have a lead that clips to the dogs collar that we use more but we keep this for use in difficult conditions that would mess up the hinge on the other lead such as on the beach.It arrived as described, it is a nice length and the lead feels nice quality - the colour is nice and it is thick and strong, I feel confident when using it with our staffy.

I really like this lead, compared to other similar leads I have had its got an extra bit of length so my big pooch can get that extra few steps infront! Looking at the lead when it 1st arrived I was unsure it would last (as my rather large Labrador has all ready destroyed 2 leads) but I have had this a while now and no sign of loosening, just wish they done this 1 in pink lol

Fine but not brilliant
This lead is absolutely fine but not quite what I'd thought it would be. I expected it to be stronger (broader rope) and more robust than it seems. Given its not what I expected, it does seem quite expensive. But it does the job, so no real complaint.

GREAT QUALITY
Bought a purple and red so they don't get mislaid. Very good quality and length for my springer gun dog but would also suit the larger breeds. Can't wait to get out with then. Update: still going strong and much admired. Will be buying more. Would like a white or neutral colour. Update: my liver and white springer is going hospital visiting - so is wearing his new red leather collar and red long lead. Will make quite an entrance. Update- now own two Springer spaniels -,both using these heads in red.

Very good!
Highly reccomend, nice lead, good quality and has washed well when it got muddy. The rubber bit is nice and big so the metal loop can't slip over like it ends up doing with some of these type of leads. It's also nice and soft on your hands.

Love these leads - the rope is soft and doesn't hurt your hand. If they get wet they soon dry, the rubber stopper does its job and our old black lab loves his so much he picks it up and carries it in his mouth.
