inconsistent quality
Of the 8 or so I purchased, the first two were unusable in two different ways. These are meant to be 8:8 / parallel 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and so on. The first one had continuity issues on some pins. About 4 of the 8 pins connected. The second one I tried actually had some pins parallel to more than one so, 2-2&4, 3-3&5, etc. Not usable. I bought something else that makes reliable connections.

Money well spent
These worked for my needs. Also the plugs had no movement when the cable inserted. These are better than my local supplier in that regaurd.

The splits are good.

poor tolerances
Out of the 6 I purchased, only 2 were able to be used. The problem is that the spring contacts slip out of the plastic comb holding them in place. This can be fixed with a small screwdriver, but it is caused by a slight offset of the spring contacts with the insertion opening for the cable end and the combs are not long enough to keep the contacts aligned. The right hand socket in the picture shows what happens. I use the cat 6 cable as a control bus for 3 logical fans in a solar kiln.

Doesn’t work like I thought
It didn’t work. I plug in an Ethernet into 1 side, 2 into the other and no internet. It has to be paired with another plug or something to split. Ended up returning for another thing. Great deal for 4 of them, if you have the proper use case, it’d be great. Just doesn’t work for turning 1 Ethernet into 2 Eth
