Package: Pikkolo Carrier with Black Babywearing Support Belt. Can be worn on the front facing in or out, on the hip, or back. With just a little practice, the tying methods quickly become second nature. Do not carry your baby front facing forward until he or she can support his or her head. This package also includes a support belt which is recommended for babies 18 pounds and above. This suport belt must be used with the child's leg coming out either side of the carrier.

Nice but painful on the hips
I was truly very excited to receive my Pikkolo baby carrier since I have a baby that wants to be carried all the time and he weighs 22 lbs. I picked this carrier because it was advertised as being perfect for babies weighing up to 45 lbs and that it had great back support. My hips and lower back are killing me during and after wearing this carrier every time I wear it. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs and the carrier fits nicely but after a few minutes of walking around the pain begins. This happens while using the support belt, which is not comfortable. I fill like all the weight is digging into my hip bones and there is a strain on my lower back. I love that it faces outward; however, I experience the most pain when I carry my little guy this way. I would say that the back carrying feature is the best thing about this carrier. I also really appreciate the padded shoulder straps (they are lovely). I only wish that the support belt had the same padding all the way around instead of just the piece directly in the middle. The belt is what is causing my hip pain. If anyone else has a suggestion on how to wear this carrier more comfortably I would love to hear it so please reach out to me.

Love this carrier!
Out of all my carriers (and I've had a lot!) my 8 month old daughter likes this one the best. She prefers to be face out, so this one is perfect. She could spend all day in it and not make a peep. Super easy to use, comfortable, and well made. Very pleased with this purchase.

I was looking for a carrier that would allow me ...
I was looking for a carrier that would allow me to feed on the go, since my son was two years old and very mobile when our daughter was born. My daughter is 1 years old and we still use the carrier regularly ... I even got my husband and caregiver to use it :) Worth every penny!!
