The updated ROADCLAW 275 V2 is lighter and more responsive, specifically designed with increased levels of cushioning and durability for longer training runs and races. We’ve learnt from our successes in the mountains to deliver a road running shoe with iconic inov-8 grip, no matter how rugged the road.

Not wide enough in the midfoot.
Have and love! the Parkclaw 240. Purchased the 275 hoping for similar results. Way off! First of all, they are both listed as 5 on Innov8's width chart, 5 is widest. They are supposedly both built on men's lasts. The main difference was the midfoot width. On the 240, the midfoot is very roomy, perfect for those with wide midfoot. The 275 has normal midfoot, felt tight. The toebox is much less roomy on the 275 compared to the 240, both in width and height. Looking at my other Innov8s, I realize the names and numbers aren't the same as other brand numbers. While other brand numbers specify a newer version of the same shoe, it seems like Innov8's numbers are a different style and the name is the purpose. (Parkclaw 275 is the same shape as the Roadclaw 275, but with beefier treads for hiking, trail running) So I guess I would look for another 240 since that's the one that fit best. Unfortunately Parkclaw 240 only comesin the light blue.275 just isn't wide enough.

Roomy, but not loose toe box and snug heal fit.
I have a wide ball of my foot and a narrower that normal heal. These shoes fit almost perfectly. They arrived just before I was to go on a short backpacking shake out. The performed well on the trail which was rock, gravel and desert sand. Good grip on all conditions. My toes often fall asleep in most shoes, but not on this trip. No toe or heel fatigue, which is more than I can say for the rest of me. Love these shoes.

Great shoe as advertised although maybe not the best for heavy runners.
I gave this a 5-star review as it is exactly as advertised and it would be unfair to judge it on other criteria. It`s a beautiful looking shoe, fits my wide feet perfectly (size 12), and is nice and light.I am a heavy (110kg), slow runner that runs around 100km a week. It`s a great shoe for runs up to 30km, although any further and my feet start to hurt as I feel I need more support. So in summary, for most people, this is a perfect shoe although if you are a heavy runner running over 30km you might find it lacking in support.

PERFECT from the first moment
I had read excellent reviews for this shoe, but the fit proves the pudding. I have feet issues, surgery on my right foot reattaching all the medial tendons means I need a neutral shoe with good support, but not too much, and the right foot bed and arch support. I have VERY high arches. Took these shoes on a very steep trail hike this morning. All's well, happy feet means happy shoes! And the fit is fine. Wide foot bed for a wide foot. Plus they're purple.

Very comfortable shoe, wide toe box.
I bought this shoe primarily for walking. It is very comfortable, offers good support, light weight. Wore this shoe all day without issue out of the box. Very happy with the purchase. It is in general a normal sized arch with a wide toe box, 5 of 5 on their scale of roominess in the toe box. Good ventilation as well.

Fast and versatile
Size: I wear 9.5 for some older Inov 8 road shoes. For the Roadclaw 275 I started with 9.5 and had to size down to 9. Actual weight of 285 gr. is 60 grams heavier than my lightest shoes but I have matched the average pace that I have done with lighter shoes without any noticeable extra effort. Sole seems versatile enough for smooth dirt and any paved road. Good grip. My first choice for wet weather road runs.Wide fit and 8 mm drop works for me. Probably too wide for narrow feet. Plenty of cushioning with a solid feel. Looks good.

Love these!
Great pair of shoes! Awesome for crossover running. If you tend to mix between paved and off road trails, these are the shoes to get!! Also like the wide toe box!

Good Transition to More Minimal Inov8's
Decent for road running, but the cushioning for this deviates slightly from the Inov8 concept of natural/ near barefoot running. You can clock up road miles without developing soreness in your feet from thinner soled models, but it's arguable that the ground feedback is beneficial to alter your stride and landing to remove/ minimise the impact and therefore develop better overall running bio mechanics. If you are thinking of trying Inov8's as a runner from more heavily cushioned running shoes this is a good transition shoe to try. Also decent in the gym when lifting weights; however, for squats and deadliffts I found that the elevation in the heel encouraged me to project forward onto my toes and therefore I often would just take these off and continue in socks.

Simply brilliant.
I don't think of myself as having 'wide feet'. For years I skied in 27.5 cm / 98mm width boots. My feet have expanded a little and now I ski in 27.5 cm / 99mm width boots.Usual trainer size is 9.5 UK / 28.5 cmHowever, the fit of these in Inov-8 5 (EE) width of these in a UK size 9.5 is just sublime with a mid-weight sock.If you're familiar with The Foot Collective/Kelly Starrett (Supple Leopard/Ready to Run), and looking to get into barefoot running these are a great starter pack, albeit with 8mm drop. The foot can really splay out, giving far more balance and reducing stress on the shins and calves. I have also purchased a pair of Terraultra G 270 with 0mm drop to complement them.Coming from a Brooks Beast, the fit, weight & comfort is a revelation. Get Some!!

avoid if you have wide feet.
After about 100km of on-tarmac running, the upper is starting to wear through on my right foot.the little toe sticks out a bit having broken it years ago and has rubbed away the shoe lining and my sock is now visible through the hole. a real shame after 3-1/2 months and 100km. My faith in Inov-8 shoes ( this is my third pair) has wavered somewhat.i know it's my wonky foot is the cause, but my previous running shoes have not had this issue.

So comfy!
These are my second pair of Inov-8 shoes and my first Parkclaws. They fit like a glove (size 7) from the first time I wore them and I barely know I'm wearing them. I bought them specifically for winter running as my usual routes get a bit treacherous under foot and my Roadclaws don't have the necessary grip. So far they have proved to be well worth spending a bit more. Would definitely recommend although if you have wide feet the fit might be a bit too snug.

Waste of money, badly designed !
This trainers are the worse I ve ever purchased. Holes started to appear on the front outer edges just by the little toe. It’s not as if I am a seasoned runner! The furthest I ve ran in these are 5 km! Totally put me off Inov8 wast of money.
